I don't like the tactic of "I have another appointment schedule at .... I can continue for an additional $$$". I would have rather you be upfront about the additional cost/hour instead of the hustle and manipulation.
Some people like myself actually need people to move heavy items and pack trucks properly and we're counting on professionals to do this at the best rate with high quality. Thus, just be up front and honest. Professional integrity goes a long way.
Secondly, a preview of what needs to be packed should be done a day or two beforehand. This will add to the integral part of your business. Meaning when you see that it's going to take longer than two hours discuss it with your potential client. Again, maintaining professional integrity.
There were many items left that were not packed and could have been packed. My son, daughter, and I had to finish which delayed our leaving by two hours.
Lastly, the televisions were not packed securely and a brand new table was broken. I understand that the company is not liable but it would not have happened had it been packed properly.

I have just moved and had a UHaul to in load. Russell and Kola had to be 2 of the hardest working guys I have ever hired!
They would go were I pointed and never stopped for 2 hours!
They were polite and conscientious of all my fragile boxes!
Some could only be turned one way they would look at writing before stacking the boxes.
In fact I moved some pieces in a closet that has to be moved plus some furniture that needs changing so I called and requested they come back.
I would highly recommend this company!
