Samuel Services provided everything that I would have expected and more, which is hard to come by these days. The two men showed up on time, started working immediately and required little to no assistance while moving all of my furniture and belongings out of my 3rd floor room. I had an issue with the truck rental and received a large van rather than the 10 ft. truck I thought I was going to have. The movers artfully packed all of my belongings (including a queen ben) into the van without an issue. They even offered to drive my TV over to the storage unit in their car. They unloaded everything on the other end and into a storage unit....... ALL DONE UNDER THE 2 HOUR TIME LIMIT! Amazing!

4 guys came and 1 driver who watched. They did not come with any carts or trolleys as i had organised. They worked hard. They were actually sub contractors hired by Patriot Van Lines and they kept asking about payment, (in the begining it took 20 minutes for us all on the phone to sort it out with Patriot Van lines), which had been made through Hire a Helper to Patriot Van Lines. 3 of the 4 guys worked hard and were good, they didn't bring any water and it was a hot day so i had to give them water and let them use my bathroom. They were polite and careful.

My name is Enni and I just moved to Baltimore from TN. I was most amazed that Wualter and co-worker waiting for me as I arrived. They even parked the truck for me and started the off-load. They were very fast and very careful with my stuff. They even finished a good 30 mins before time. Finally, they mounted my bed for me before leaving. That was really nice and I would recommend them any time. If I should move again, Samuel Services would be my # 1.

They were great. They were on time and very fast, they didn't damage anything. They even helped stack everything perfectly to get it to all fit into a storage unit that I would have never been able to fit it all into. I paid for three hours and they made sure to finish within the three and didnt slow down to try and make me pay another hour. Really nice guys!!

Two helpers were about 40 minutes late, apparantly due to traffic. They had tried to contact us repeadidly on their PDA to no avail. Began work immediately and in a word were "awsome"! Both were deaf, but communication (via notes and lip reading) was not a real problem. My concern was that the truck may not hold all our possessions. The gentlemen surveyed the truck, checked out our stuff, and with a thumbs up indicated we were OK. Everything fit w/room to spare. The loading was professional and both took care to ensure that our fragile items were not damaged. The job was completed in just under two hours. Kudos to both men!!

My employer relocates my family about once a year, so we are very experienced when it comes moving. The three young men from Alliance did a great job! They were here on time, courteous and very professional. They worked very quickly yet were careful with our belongings. Based on this experience I would highly recommend them.

Moses and his team are excellent. Last year, I started a PhD program at Johns Hopkins and moved to the Baltimore area from Atlanta. I reserved this service online and showed up with my Ryder truck on the day of the move. They were on time and very professional--they worked extremely hard to complete the move in the estimated time (they even finished a few minutes early). Since then, I have used them for another move and recommend them readily to my friends who also need help moving. They were very polite and also careful to not break anything. Here's what I think: once you've used professional help, you will never ask your out-of-shape cadre of friends to help you move again. Great service, really.
