Jake and his crew did an awesome job. Their first job ran a little longer than they anticipated, but Jake was great about keeping me informed on their timeline. They loaded all of the heavier stuff, which is why we originally hired them, and unloaded it quickly and professionally. They saved our backs!! I will use them again.
One thing I was disappointed to learn is how much they actually receive from Hire-a-helper. After I approved the payment, I had walked in the house and, as I was walking out, I overheard tow of the crew saying that not only did Hire-a-helper take 15% of what I paid, they also took a $50 fee plus took out taxes. In the end, they ended up only getting a fraction of what they should have. They did the heavy lifting, not Hire-a-helper. I doubt I use this site again, now that I know how much they keep from the movers.
