We hired movers to remove our items from the truck and take them to the apartment and storage area. The movers were on time, prepared and worked extremely hard (especially considering the wet conditions). Workers were painfully careful of our property and goods and took the time to point out the damage by the movers who loaded the truck. Movers were skilled in the placement of our items in storage as to make sure we have enough room to pack everything in. Mover were very business like and professional and eager to please!!! They were also very committed to complete the job within the give time limit, as to ensure we would not have to pay for going over. Not only would I recommend these movers to ANYONE, we plan to use these exact mover to move our stuff from the apartment and storage once the house build is complete in December. They were THE BEST WE EVER USED!!!!!!

These jokers were scheduled to unload my Uhaul between 12:00 noon and 1:00. I phoned them at 11:00 to confirm and David stated that they were running late and wouldn't be there until 1:30. I phoned David again at 1:00 to confirm again and he didn't answer his cell phone. I left him 2 other messages with no call back. I later received a email that they cancelled the move. Here we were with a full haul and no movers. I phoned HireAHelper and they contacted another company named Mighty Movers. Mighty Movers were on site within the hour and had the truck unloaded within an hour. I highly recommend MIGHTY MOVERS. Don't waste your tome with YBOR!

This father and (young) son team never showed up the original start day. I could not reach them, nor could HireAHelper. This cost me an extra days rent on the rental truck. The day the "team" arrived, the elder had a smart attitude and corrected me every time I told him what needed to go to my storage unit and what needed to go to the apartment. I asked him to be particularly careful with a set of boxes because they had fragile antique telephones in them. The mover talked down to me and said that "I've been doing this (moving) for 21 yrs. and I can tell what is in the box"!
I provided all of the moving supplies and asked that all of the living room and bedroom furniture be wrapped in the wide stretch wrap I had purchased. They only used the stretch wrap on two pieces of dining room furniture.
After the movers left, I had personal things to put in the truck. When I saw how everything was tied back, I gasped! The movers had placed my 51" Plasma TV (that was packed in a U-Haul TV box) at the end, with the tie down straps, causing both ends of the box to crush in! I had to undo the tie down straps and place a large leather chair in front of the TV (box), then strapping everything down. I would never used this father/son team ever again.
