Why Did We Create Hire a Helper?
We noticed many young adults (specifically college students) were having trouble finding jobs worth their time and that fit their schedule. We also saw the difficulty that homeowners had trying to find affordable help for a variety of household services. Hire a Helper was created to bring these two groups together. We hope to provide flexible well-paying jobs while providing quality labor and services to anyone in need of some extra help.
When should I Hire A Helper?
Are you moving and don't have the time or physical ability to carry heavy objects? Hire a couple moving helpers to provide moving help for you: (2 Helpers x 4 hours = Approx $120*).
Did you just order some new sod? Would you like to get your whole lawn done in 2 hours instead of 8? Get a few strong guys to help with your gardening and landscaping. (3 helpers x 2 hours = Approx $90*)
Are you a contractor finishing up a home remodel and you would like to pay less than the $25/hr to a temp agency for someone to clean up the site? We have cheap day laborers too! (1 Helper x 8 hours = Approx $120*)
Its spring cleaning time again and you have 1 Saturday to clean your garage. Get some help! (1 helpers x 6 hours = $90*).
*Why are there stars next to the prices?
Because helpers set their own rates, the price range can vary. Helpers who generate good reviews and have completed more jobs may charge a little more for their services. Whereas helpers who are just starting out will keep their rates lower in order to establish a good name (and some high reviews) for themselves. It's up to you who you wish to hire!
