Snow Shoveling

Items Needed:

                       Snow shovel
                       Snow boots
                       Warm clothes
                       Rock salt

This may not be a year around occurrence, but when snow begins to fall, snow shoveling becomes a necessity.

This is a strenuous activity.
Be careful: slippery, wet surfaces requires safety precautions. Bend from the knees to avoid unnecessary strain on your back. Dress appropriately. You will be doing intense physical activity in cold temperatures.

Start with the driveway and all other walk ways. Shovel the snow out of the way or of to the side. After, pour rock salt on the surfaces to avoid slipping.

This will have to be done several times throughout the winter season, depending on the amount of snow falling.
