Being recently widowed with 4 children and on a tight budget, I engaged the services of the least expensive service I could find. I was concerned that the service would not be top notch since I had not gone with the pricier company. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that my expectations were very wrong. They truly provided excellent service. Thank You.

The only good thing I can say about the services I received from them was that I placed my order last minute at around 4PM and they still showed up that night. HOWEVER, they showed up nearly two hours after they said they would be there, and did not call to warn me they would be late until about 15 minutes before they showed up. Then when they got there, the two men (Kent and Eric) seemed much more interested in talking to either us or between themselves than they did about loading our truck. We had them booked for 2 hours and they were only able to move 6 pieces of furniture, only two of them being heavy, and about 10 minutes worth of boxes. They left several pieces of furniture and most of the boxes for myself and my husband to move ourselves. Then when we unloaded the truck we found that several of the pieces of furniture that they moved had been scuffed, and with one chest they had knocked an entire piece off the corner about 3 inches long and 2 inches wide. We hired a 19 year old college boy to help us unload the same items and we unloaded the entire truck in 30 minutes. After all was said and done I was very unimpressed.
Most customers who use this site for moving labor help are on a tight budget. At asset labor, we try to compete for this business. Most well known movers has a minimum charge that is much more than our two hour minimum. Here are some moving tips for a small budget:1 use standard moving supplies including moving pads,2 properly pack boxes and group by size,3 clear all clutter from pathways,4 disassemble beds, secure doors and drawers and disconnect appliances,5 adequate truck size.
