Would highly recommend Brookwood Moving. Starting with Chris who I spoke to on the phone to confirm our move and he accommodated a slight change in time without any issues or questions!! On the day of the move, Chris called and let me know when the crew was headed our way.
Simon, Dan and Patrick showed up right on time, listened attentively to where we wanted boxes and furniture unloaded to, and got right to work. They worked quickly, efficiently and were polite and so respectful to us while handling our furniture and belongings with care.
The 3 guys assisted us with unloading a 26’ moving truck and 14’ trailer in 2 hours. Top notch service and would definitely use them again!!

We have used Hire a Helper before and were very satisfied with previous movers. The Brookwood movers were very slow. They also got our expensive purple mattress wet and we now have a permanent water stain in the mattress. We purchased a plastic cover to protect it and they said it was difficult to carry it with the plastic cover and that they would put it back on in the truck, which defeats the purpose of a mattress protector. We ended the job at the end of the 3 hours. My husband and I had to pay for another day with the Uhaul truck because of how long it took them to load our truck. My husband and I ended up completing the move ourselves. We feel we paid too much for incomplete work.

Patrick and Craig were on time, very professional, careful/thoughtful while moving stuff, and they were so committed to ensuring everything got into the POD, even when it seemed like an impossible task. The team at Brookwood called me before arriving to confirm the time still worked and they worked with me on a date change. Super thankful. Definitely recommend.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Prompt and efficient crew, all uniformed. Dollies, tools, plastic wrap and rope on every job. We also sell blankets at request.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Pack all belongings into boxes, and separate anything that is NOT going to be packed, into a clearly defined area.

Long distance, local, full service, labor only, corporate. Everything.

Helping our local community with trustworthy, reliable moving service, which is hard to find these days.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We are a small business and operate with 6 total crew members. Because of this, all of my guys get 5+ moves a week, 100's a year per member. We are a very experienced team.
