I initially had high hopes for Honeydo because of their high rating on Hire A Helper, and I was unfortunately disappointed in the end. There were several issues with their service on the day of our unloading, specifically the three following:
1. We had a large chest that needed to go upstairs, which the team told us was too heavy and too bulky to carry. My spouse and I were able to get it into our child's bedroom in about ten minutes with no damage to either our house or ourselves.
2. One of the team members repeatedly yelled the f-word in front of our 11-year-old when unloading a particularly heavy piece of furniture. While I *do* understand that it was heavy and bulky, I don't think it warranted repeated swearing in front of a child.
3. One of the team members asked several ethnically- and religiously-insensitive questions, the first based on our history of frequent moving and the second based on an elaborate candleholder that we own. I will allow the reader to fill in the blanks.
Having moved nearly 20 times in my life, I have a wealth of experience with movers. This is easily the worst experience I've had with a team, and I do not recommend the company.
(I would like to stress, however, that the customer service rep was lovely.)

They can expect to be contacted in a timely fashion to go over all of their move details such as time of arrival, and expectations of us.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
They can expect my team to be there on time and respectful and professional during the entire move.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should have everything boxed up and ready to go! We can disassemble and reassemble if need be. We want their move day to be as stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
We have provided long distance moves, local moves, office moves, commercial moves, etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new customers and networking while also providing a great customer and community service. We love to put smiles on faces and fears and anxiety at ease.
What training do you provide your crew members?
My crew have worked for a major moving company which provided extensive training! Any new people would have to shadow my seasoned members a few times before they could be on their own
