If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. Despite having arranged our
moving labor help days in advance and confirmed all details with them on the
telephone, we received a call at 10 pm on a Friday night (10 hours prior to
the start of our move) cancelling. There was a bogus reason that 2 of the
3 workers we hired had been injured that day. We were told by the head of
the company that we would get a call early the next morning arranging for
more help, but not only did we never get that call, NO ONE showed up to
help and NO ONE answered the phone or called us back. I would recommend
this company to absolutely no one, not even my worst enemy. Suddenly we
were faced with no moving labor help and ended up moving out late, getting
charged extra by our landlord, lost the deposit on the moving truck, and
ultimately spent about $1500 more to get out of the house and into our new

These gentlemen were on time and went right to work. Even though it started raining they kept on working. I would definitely hire them again.

My recommendations for using this (or any other) helper service: Rent plenty of moving blankets. Have the heaviest items (e.g. appliances) moved out of the old house first and moved into the new house first while the crew is fresh. Take pictures before the helpers arrive.
Positive: The crew arrived on time, worked hard the entire 6 hours and were very careful to avoid hitting the walls when moving my furniture in the house.
Negative: Several items were brought down stairs by slowly flipping the item end over end. The control panel on my clothes dryer was damaged by this. Multiple items were loaded in the truck finished side down without using moving blankets leaving scratches and nicks.
I would consider using this helper again because they did work hard. I would just insist on gentler handling when loading and unloading the truck.

A slight delay in arrival as the storage facility had 2 facilities and my storage facility was hard to find. Error was quickly corrected and workers arrived minutes later. The workers were quite friendly and got "right down to business." They promptly unpacked my unit (10x20) and boxed and replaced those boxes that needed to be replaced. They were respectful of my property and goods and packed them as I wished. My property and goods were then carefully returned and placed in a neat and orderly way. They were hard workers and did a great job! I would definitely use them again!

I used helping hands to assist with moving some large furniture during a recent move. The helpers arrived promptly when scheduled and completed the work very quickly and professionally, being careful not to damage the walls when moving large furniture down a steep set of stairs. I was very happy with the service and would highly recommend them!
