Mr. Reddix was 10 minutes before the starting time, which gave him enough time to find the guest parking and to unload their dolly. They started right on time, fast, efficient. Very respectful gentlemen. I will, for sure, hire them next time.

Before I explain why the rating is so bad, let first admit that this was a last minute job - ordered the day of. HOWEVER, they accepted the job and, at the very least, I expect professionalism. My experience was downright atrocious.
I had arranged for the help (2 people for 2 hours) to arrive at 2:30pm to help me unload my Budget truck. I live in a high-rise condo in downtown Miami. These building have small move-in windows and shut the elevator down promptly - no exceptions. You cannot be late or move slowly or you will not finish. Period.
Here's the timeline of Day 1 (yes, it went over):
2:30pm - Help not there; I start moving by myself
3pm - Helpers call but will be another 20 min; continue by myself
3:30pm - I call for the 4th time. Can't find the building. I give address (again), explain best I can, and tell them we're running out of time. Continue moving by myself
4pm - I call again. They still can't find it. I continue
4:30pm - Same
5pm - Same. Elevator shut down by the building
5:05pm - Call the helpers. Tell them it's pointless. They say they are outside the building. Tell them it's pointless.
5:15pm - Talk to their boss at dispatch. She's apparently "appalled". I say I still need help at 9am the next morning to finish the big stuff. She says they will be there an hour early. I say just get them there on time
6pm - Call my boss to apologize but I need another day off
Day 2:
9am - No show; I start again by myself
9:30am - Call the helpers; no answer; continue myself
10am - Call the helpers; he clearly was woken up by my call; I say get there ASAP. He says 20 min. It takes them 45
10:45am - They FINALLY arrive. Looking terrible and completely unapologetic.
11:45am - we complete the job. I use them for HALF of the time I paid for. I had already completed most of the work
12pm - I speak to the same woman at dispatch to tell her we were done. I asked her to refund half my payment for the hassle. She says no problem.
Today - No refund. No apology. Nothing. Just a completely **** experience in which I did all the work, still paid 100% of the cost, had to tell my boss I needed an extra day off for no good reason, and felt completely disappointed in people. What a disgusting experience.

They were very inexperienced, needed to be "cued" every step!, so the loading lasted forever. I Had to pick up many parts of the furnitures that they put apart and some I can't locate.. The worst is the dishonesty of the crew: I paid $ 150.00 for extra hours they told their boss that I gave them only $100.00 (this is what the boss told me on the phone).It's like I went by home depot and picked up 2 and 1/2 men for the job!!! Never again with the reddix,very unprofessional. I will also make a report at Better Business Bureau.

First of all, they came an hour late. When they came they didnt know what they were doing. I've used moving companies in the past and they make moving easier when they know what they're doing, these two guys had no clue how to pack. We had to help them with everything, which took us away from doing other things.
Maybe it was just the two guys that were sent to us, but I wouldnt recommend this company at all.

I hired Hire A Helper to help with an eviction. Because it was an eviction and the Sheriff had to be there to remove the tenants, it was very important that Hire A Helper be there on time and ready to work. I am very pleased to say that they were. Prior to hiring them, I searched far an with to find a moving company to provide the service I needed and Hire A Helper was about half the price of the nearest competitor for the services I needed. I would certainly use Hire A Helper again and highly recommend you get a quote from them for your job!

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have everything ready for the move cause we will be at least 15 minutes early.

We handle all kinds of moves, doesn’t matter how far you are from us. We will make sure we are 15 minutes early to complete our job. We’ve completed office moving, storage moving, and even pod moves.
