Still hadn't heard from anyone, so I called Hire a Helper who immediately got in touch with the movers. About 1/2 later I received a call. I was told that they wouldn't be able to get to job at the scheduled time because of schedule conflict. Moving to a later time did not work for me because I had to get my girls off the bus at our new home (first day of school). To Pleasant Movers credit, they were flexible to rescheduling til the next day. Made it a little more hectic for me, but manageable since the storage unit wasn't going anywhere. The next day they called in the morning while in route. Job was supposed to start at 10....they were 1/2 late. I will say that first impression of these guys was a little intimidating. They don't come dressed in a professional uniform (ie. tshirt that advertises their company) or arrive in a company vehicle. But if you can get past that, you will be very pleased!!! They were extremely professional and worked hard. I mean they were non-stop!!!! My two hour window was aggressive, they went a little over but not for any reason other than it was a lot of work. I was ill prepared in terms of furniture pads, but Alex made some suggestions and I made a quick run to Home Depot. He worked with whatever I provided to ensure the furniture was protected. It was also pouring rain at one point, but you wouldn't have known it with these guys.. They didn't flinch!! They loaded that storage unit in an organized manner with not one inch to spare! After the loading, I worked with the same crew at my new home. They unloaded all the furniture, assembled everything, and cleaned up after themselves. They took good care of my furniture and definately aimed to do a good job. I was very pleased with their services. They only reason I didn't give them a 5 was because of the timeliness. But I would definately work with them again!!! Thank you to Hire A Helper and Pleasant Moving for a successful move!
