The only negative comment I can make is that they were late. Once they arrived, they worked non-stop, were very professional and took very good care of my belongings. I would recommend them.

They did a great job!
We were originally scheduled to have them come on a Saturday morning, but we found out that we could get the keys to our new place on Friday! We called them on Thursday and they were flexible and said they could come Friday late afternoon! So we had everything in our new house the day before we were originally thinking! It was awesome!
The 3 of them were very efficient and unloaded our 22' Penske truck quickly.

I had a great experience with C & M. They arrived on time an did the job quickly and professionally. They arrived with the proper moving supples and I feel they treated my property carefully and with respect. I was able to contact them the morning of the move to get a better idea of their timing so I did not have to wait around the house all day. They were very friendly and helped make my moving day successful and stress free. I would recommend them and use them again.

I used this moving company previously and I guess they just got too comfortable and it showed in their performance. They did not work expeditiously, were not considerate of the time that I had paid for and did not use the time in an effective manner to prevent them from going over. I ended up paying for an extra two hours because of their inability to work smart and effective. I am very dissatisfied about because I had a $3,000.00 dollar Ashley furniture bed room set that was scratch free before they laid their hands on it. After the move I noticed all kinds of scratches on it, the handle on one of my drawers is broken, and there are pieces broken of wood that are missing from the corners of my furniture. It is one thing for the movers to move at a slow pace with no regard for my time and the money that I spent supporting their business but it is another to cause damage to someone's property. As I stated previously, I have used this moving company before and I had no problems with the service or with my house hold goods being damaged but this time it was horrible. IT TOOK 2 MEN 6 HOURS TO MOVE 3 ROOMS (2 BEDROOMS AND 1 LIVING ROOM) OF FURNITURE FROM AN UPSTAIRS APARTMENT INTO A 2 STORY HOME. 6 HOURS!!!!!!!!!! THEY WERE LATE SHOWING UP THAN WHAT I WAS PREVIOUSLY ADVISED OF. THEY ARRIVED AFTER 8PM AND FINISHED AFTER 2AM. It was cold and late and I did not notice the damages that were done to my furniture until the next day. I called the moving company and left two messages, because no one answered the phone, and my calls were not returned. The lack of respect for time, common courtesy, and care to my furniture is why I will NEVER use this moving company again or recommend them to any one else.

My move was canceled by the movers and Hire a Helper was blamed initially. They were able to send a couple of guys who did a GREAT job at 4:30 PM versus 10:00 AM. They moved me in the dark. They were very respectful of my property and they worked hard. I would recommend this company....however, I would recommend that you follow up the day before and on the day of the move to ensure they are coming.
