Having experienced Hire A Helper previously, I had expected better from Upscale. I felt they lacked professionalism, 1)John used a great deal of profanity that's okay if you are kicking it with your friends but when you are the face of a company it is unacceptable, (I am a christian) I was insulted by this. 2) John kept complaining about how the furniture was packed stating that whoever did it did not know what they were doing. The packers I used to pack the truck did an outstanding job! What John failed to realize is if when you travel 2000 miles over steep hills, things shift even in a tightly packed truck. 3) I had to show John how to open the truck up becauses he kept saying it was locked. Once I opened the truck it took John and his partner about 15 minutes to unlatch the partition. I also had to walk him through how to pull the ramp down. He dropped my shredder not paying attention to what he was doing thank goodness it was not broke (he did apologize and offered to buy me another one). 4) I had to get on the truck myself and show him how to take things down. 5) I had to repeat myself several times. 6) He was contantly receiving and answering phone calls, he should probably invest in a blue tooth.
FYI: Not once did he or his partner look me in the eyes not even when I greeted them with a handshake.
The reason why this score is not lower is because they were on time (came earlier when the ABF truck arrived). Conclude: They were not respectful of my property. They were not experienced and I do not feel they worked hard comparing them to my 5 previous cross country moves using loader and unloaders. I will not use them again nor recommend them.
