Nicholas and Chris from A-1 Movers were great. They were on time, personable, hard working, and really took care to make sure all my stuff was moved quickly but carefully into my apartment. Nicholas really knew what he was doing, checked with me about relevant details regarding specific items he was moving, and overall, really gained my trust that he would take care of all my things and that I didn't need to worry. I would absolutely hire them again!

I highly recommend A-1 Movers. I moved in August 2019, Nick and his team came and magically put a 4500 square foot house into a POD seamlessly. When they unpacked my POD in November 2019 there was not a scratch or broken article that came out of the POD! Also, Nick and his team put everything back together in the three hour window that was quoted to me. I do have to mention the weather was cold and it was pouring out they wiped everything dry. Hopefully I will not be moving for a very long time but if I were I would definitely hire A-1 Movers. Thank you for your hard work and patience rearranging to make things fit!

These guys were phenomenal! I ended up in a rough place due to an unexpected ER trip during my move, so I was behind when the A1 movers showed up so I was very stressed. Nick and Chris were amazing, they helped us disassemble our furniture, reassemble it in the new place and helped us felt all our furniture in addition to moving all of our packed items, allowing us to catch up on our packing. They also paid special attention to moving my grandfather clock with no damage! If you are in this company's service area you need to hire them, it's a no brainer.

Nick, Brad and Chris from A1- Movers did an amazing job packing my things into two separate PODs, a long term POD going to storage facility and a short term POD going to my new home. Very challenging to fit everything in. But they did an amazing job and showed a high degree of care with handling my items. Can't say enough about what a great job they did.

Pleasant and friendly- did a good job - finished quickly didn't waste any time. Helped assemble some pieces of furniture, but didn't need full 2 hours and price for 2 hrs was rather pricey- $285. Same service in Mi was considerably less $$.

The Hire A Helper company they sent for our move was A-1 Movers. I've seen their trucks around so I knew that they have been an active business for years.
I was called by Curtis from A-1 to verify the move and was told what to expect and who was going to be there. The two movers that arrived were Nicholas and Christopher. They were on time, knowledgeable and polite. They knew exactly what they were doing and you could tell by the way they moved around the house. And the move went without a hitch and would recommend these guys to anyone who doesn't want to lift heavy furniture or do any lifting at all.
It was worth every penny and that wasn't all that many pennies!

we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
