The men started in right away after they arrived. They looked over everything that needed to be packed on the POD and got right to work. Took a couple of small breaks, were very friendly, answered questions and got the job done.
We did need a little extra time and was charged for the whole hour which wasn't their fault so it would have been nice to pro-rate any extra time. Maybe half hour increments. We only used 20-25 minutes of the extra hour but was charged for the whole hour. Maybe company policy could be changed for that.
Overall we are well pleased with the service.

My main contact was with Will,i found him to be polite and helpful, even thou I had to cancel and reschedule 3 different times.That flexability helped reduce some stress. they arrived within 10m mins of there scheduled time, and got right to work.
They kept working and brought most items to where hey belonged....upstairs,basement,garagewhatever with no complaints.They took the time to try to get bedding into bedrooms and where willing to move one room already set up ,back to another room.We would definetly use them again.

My two helpers were great! They were on time, had everything I lacked, and did a miraculous job filling my POD. [Bob was incredible] They also helped calm my freakouts. I'll use them again when I need help, and recommended it to my friends when the time comes.

I would recommend Affordable Professional Movers without hesitation. My two-person crew was on time, very hard-working, and skilled at their work, namely, loading and protecting precious belongings as part of a long-distance move. This was just the help I was looking for and they delivered. Everything arrived in great condition at my destination.

They did a great job moving my furniture in the hot weather last week. The only issue I had is that it only took about an hour and I prepaid for 3 hrs and was not able to get a refund. I would suggest to chedule the min amount of time and pay for extra hours if you need them.

We could not have been more happy with the professionalism and service provided by these people.
Very experienced, on time and, always returned our phone calls. I would for sure use this company again for any moving needs I would have. They are very familiar with bulk heads, and how to load any truck. Because of their experience we were able to load many more items in 7 linear feet than I ever thought possible.
They were also right on time and worked very hard.

I am conflicted in this review. I had a 3 bedroom home with a full basement that I needed to have packed and loaded. The guys were prompt and great to work with, very friendly. They got everything into the truck and I was pleased with them. However, when I got to my destination to unload, I found pictures and paintings that were not boxed in any way (and that are now ruined) just shoved into corners as they would fit. There were several other things that were not boxed but just put in the truck and were therefore damaged. As I said, they busted their humps to get it done for me, but for the money I ended up paying (nearly $2000 total) I expected them to have boxed everything up to make sure that things would not be damaged. I'm estimating $500-$1000 in damage (at least), but as I had to put things directly into storage cannot get to my things for several months to check. I'll go with a full-service moving company next time.
