Equipment Details:

We provide all necessary equipment, tools and supplies for all local moves. Please note for long distance moves supplies such as furniture pads and tie down rope much be provided by the customer. Contact us for the best bargain and locations for such supplies. Piano moves are available at a cost of $150 for Uprights and $250 for Baby Grands, payable directly to the service provider.

However on Sunday…read more morning they never showed up! They never answered any of my phone calls, emails, or voicemails after I repeatedly tried to get a hold of them to try to work something out. This completely put me and my family in a tight bind, and caused a lot of pain and suffering emotionally and physically. Because of our tight schedule my wife and I had to unload our entire truck by ourselves, up 2 flights of stairs, and in a city where we knew no one. This took us all day, which caused us to be late with our uhaul return date, which cost us even more money. Service Quest still has not returned my calls or even contacted me to say that they were sorry, or it was a mistake. Since this has happened I have come to find out that they have done this to 3-4 other people recently so they cannot be trusted! Please do not use this company for anything EVER! Show Response

I was forced to delay my move by a day and find another company. I guess Mr. Scott is on a quest to discover what is the definition of service. He could start by having the professional courage to answer his phone and return messages. Then he could move on to fullfilling his commitments by honoring reservations. They arrived 30 mins late and did not bring the dollies, furniture pads, etc that they said they were going to bring. It did take them an hour or two longer than I expected, but since they were careful and didn't damage anything, I can't get too upset. Since they took longer than I originally paid for, they needed cash for those extra hours, which they didn't communicate to me ahead of time. Luckily the movers were patient and even gave me a ride to the bank to get the cash for them. They were really nice and courteous guys and I do plan on hiring them again.

No return call was received. The workers showed more than 30 minutes late and I had to spend a good part of my morning navigating them as all they had were Mapquest direction... no GPS and no map book. Slow. I had already unloade…read mored many items and continued to help them. After doing a good portion of the work myself, were done in a little less than 3 hours. I paid for 4 hours in advance. The workers called their supervisor to report that the job was finished and thye supervisor wanted to charge me an extra hour. Then some kind of hostile conversation occurred between one of the workers and the supervisor. After showing the receipt to the workers the supervisor accepted the receipt as payment in full and the workers left. I had great service loading my truck with two guys from AM Movers in northern VA/ DC area. Sevicequest was a disappointment and I will use a different firm for my next move in a couple weeks.
