Having moved furniture for two straight days, I simply could not lift another piece. We have packed a furniture set and various other living room pieces to haul to North Myrtle Beach. Because of our exhaustion and having to move items up two flights of stairs, we contacted Hire A Helper at the last minute to see if we could obtain help.
Sure enough, they were able to accommodate our needs and had two wonderful young men help us the next day with our unloading and placement of furniture. These young men arrived on time, had graciously reached out to us about twenty minutes prior to arriving as a courtesy.
I highly recommend Hire A Helper, even if you are needing help at the last minute. They worked with our schedule and found the helping hands we needed.

Unfortunately the dad had an order of ?? that made my husband want to help them get things together & get him on his way!
They did a good job putting the two beds together, putting all of the boxes in the garage & getting the 85" tv up on the stand.
He absolutely need to be aware of the odor he bring into someone's home (and it was surprising that his son didn't tell he he smelled of ??
previous reviews, you will see the quality of service we provide. These were the rudest and most inconsiderate customers we have ever had in the 10+ years we have been assisting customers. No one had an odor(not order).
The only thing that was foul was
your attitude from the minute we got there because we told you it
was going to take us longer than 2
hours (ended up being 2:40) to
complete the job it took the loaders 7 hours to do. That's all we heard
for 2.5 hours. And your husband didn't do a single thing except take the celo wrap off the couches, and help with the tv because we are a moving company, not tv mounters.
You wanted everything for nothing. He didn't touch the bed, that was huge and had to be but together with power tools.

The crew assigned for my move were fantastic! My move took place on a day where the temperature hit around 95 degrees. On top of that, the first part of the move entailed going up and down two flights of stairs. The guys didn’t miss a beat and did the job with an amazing attitude. They were careful, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend!

The two guys showed up early. They completed the job in less time that was alloted.Worked hard on a very hot afternoon.

The Hire-a-Helper men who unloaded our POD into storage arrived on time, ready to go to work. Our son felt they were professional and knew how to help him stage the storage unit for access to his belongings in the future when necessary.
We will recommend them in the future to anyone looking for moving labor helpers!

My loading movers on the Virginia side cancelled one day out, so I had to DIY and make two trips with a too-small truck. Makin' a Move, on the other hand, was fantastic - Juan and Jake arrived early, waited for me to get there, unloaded everything with great care and efficiency, and were polite and friendly to boot. They came back on a Sunday for the second unload day, and even gave me some recommendations for local things to do. Would highly recommend this company for any moving/loading/unloading/heavy lifting work. I will certainly call them again.
