First, let me say that the actual helpers (Julio and Brandon) did fine. The administrative part of the business - namely Bourne Solutions and the “contact” Cassandra - were HORRIBLE. Unresponsive, unprofessional, manipulative, and unapologetic. First, I got an email the day before the scheduled job confirming for a day later than I booked. I left voicemail and emailed to make sure they were coming as booked, and I got no response all day. I went to bed figuring they would not show. When I woke up, I had gotten an email response in the middle of the night confirming that I had the date right and that they were coming as I had booked, between 11-12. By 1:00 I was calling to see where they were; no answer or reply to my voicemail. At 1:30 I got a call from Hire A Helper, who said Bourne Soultions was on the other line and was trying to get in touch with me but that I was not answering. Lies. I literally was waiting at home, with my phone, for hours. Hire A Helper - who obviously had no problem getting through to me - told me that now that they had confirmed that they had the right number, Bourne would call me right after Hire A Helper got off the line with them, for the purpose of updating me. I told Hire A Helper that, for what it was worth, it sounded like Bourne was trying to pull a fast one on them. I gave Hire A Helper my other phone number to give to Bourne, just in case they “couldn’t get through” again. Well, not surprisingly, Bourne did not call as promised. At 2:30 (3 hours after their scheduled arrival) one of the helpers finally called to tell me they were 15 minutes away. At 2:55, 3-4 hours after they were supposed to arrive, a BMW arrived (evidently driven by Cassandra, who never actually had the gumption to talk to me directly) and dropped off the two helpers. They arrived so late that I could not use them for the full time I was paying them for, since I had to pick up my child from school. I could only use them for 50 minutes, and I had to pay for a 2-hour minimum. What a SCAM.
Again, we are sorry for your experience.

Started out shaky with a computer glitch that put them behind a couple hours but they sure made up for it when they arrived. Very efficient and pleasant to work with. They had everything moved/throw out in less than 2 hours. Highly recommend.

The movers were absolutely wonderful. It's crazy moving in Boston on September 1st, but our team was punctual, polite, and efficient. All of the movers were incredibly strong—they lifted our furniture like it was nothing! They were very careful with all of our possessions, and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was where we needed it. They got the job done quickly, neatly, and safely. Best of all, after our very stressful day of maneuvering a huge moving truck through busy streets, the team were so friendly and funny that we were smiling and laughing within minutes! These folks are fabulous, and we were so lucky to have them. Thanks also to Cassandra, who was straightforward and helpful when we confirmed our plans on the phone the day before.

Our crew from Bourne Solutions was great! We didn't touch a thing. They moved everything to the appropriate rooms and made it seamless. They were helpful putting together the beds and arranging the furniture. They were very careful and respectful of our personal belongings.

A fantastic moving experience! Communication is handled by a central point of contact and is prompt and immediate, via phone or text message. The movers showed up on time with plenty of man-power. The movers also take some time to think about how to efficiently pack the truck. For my multi-location move, they were able to provide their own transportation to the 2nd location. The best part of the move is that each item was handled carefully and placed gently. Thanks again!

I really enjoyed having Bourne Solutions there at my destination to help me move in. They were perfectly on time, worked very quickly and efficiently, and also cared enough to help organize my furniture during the unpacking process. I appreciated their help tremendously after the exhausting 2-day long truck ride to my new home. I would highly recommend them for other moving customers.
