On the day of 6/27/14 for packing and loading my stuff in Chesapeake, Virginia two guys from “HireAHelper” show up as per scheduled time. Mr. Darius Solomon (guy to whom I wrote a check for additional packing fee) and other 2 guys were absolutely horrible when comes to the packing. They were totally not careful about packing and loading on my Chesapeake, VA side last Saturday of June 2014. I did not write soon after reaching to my new place because I was busy in settling into new place.
1. That is, they were doing horrible things.
For example there was only one small bag lying open containing less than 20 grams of powder form of the condiments and without closing or making sure to wrap it up but he threw it into the box over other paper work files in the box. This resulted in the whole small bag spilled over all the books and files in that box. The guy even was showing it to me to know what it is and I told him to wrap it up but in split second I got busy and he ignored to follow simple common sense thing.
2. They were closing box about 3/4 full and seal those boxes with tape dispenser. This resulted in collapsing each of those not properly filled and sealed boxes. This resulted while stacking them over the other boxes while putting them on the dolly to carry it to the truck.
3. Closing and Sealing half-filled boxes not only damage the contents of the box due to collapsing of the box but this way they have used more boxes to fill as well as difficult to stack inside the truck as each of those have to be put in a single file causing more space to use in the 16' long truck.
4. They gave me phone number to call before leaving the site in case I needed to tell something wrong but THEY ANSWERED THAT PHONE. That means they left me with damaged boxes.
5. When reached at destination, the other good guys for unloading had big problem to carry the damaged boxes. Because each of those half packed boxes start falling apart before be able to carry to the house from the truck because each of those boxes were not properly filled, therefore collapsed.
6. Later on 7/7/14, I they also steal refill part of Checking books from BOA and Wels Fargo from my dresser while packing. They presented two checks one with $2000 and other $1200 for cashing.
7. On 7/11/14., I learnt a sudden call in the afternoon from detective from City of Hampton reported with a check number stolen from my Wells Fargo bank checking account. Not only, one the guy stolen refills of BOA checks but also Wells Fargo Bank checking account checks from the dresser. These guys same way for BOA also tried to cash check from my Wells Fargo bank checking account but the bank alerted police of the City of Hampton and police arrested one the guy associated with these guys!!
8. The “HireAHelper” company for their contract with “Mighty Mover” in Chesapeake area should strongly confront these guys for future jobs.
