Duck Movers arrived by 7:30 am and had our entire 26' truck offloaded by 9am. They were incredibly friendly, polite, and professional. Having worked with numerous moving crews over the years, I was very pleased with how quick and easy the entire process was--not to mention how reasonable the price was! They brought all the necessary equipment and got to work as soon as they arrived. They did it all--and they did it with a smile. I would highly recommend Duck Solution Movers.

Duck Movers were great ... very professional, friendly and courteous. They took care not to ding any walls while hauling furniture upstairs. Efficient and professional. I would definitely use them again!

The movers arrived nearly seven hours late. I made a reservation for 9:30 a.m. a month in advance and they arrived shortly after 4 p.m. -- just in time for a Christmas parade (no parking, pedestrians everywhere, streets blocked off.)
As a result, we turned our truck in five hours late and ended up moving about half our stuff on our own (rather than wait for them to arrive to start our move.)
They called about 8:30 a.m. to say they were short a worker and would try to make it by 10:30 a.m. Obviously, it was much later than that.
I discovered quite a significant "ding" in a writing desk that has a great deal of sentimental value, and this was heart-breaking.
The company did provide three workers instead of two at no additional charge. And they were very hard-working, fast and efficient, and nice, and they were apologetic for the wait.
But a move that was supposed to be over by early afternoon did not end until hours after dark. It was very, very stressful.
In hindsight, I would have asked around and gotten a word-of-mouth recommendation rather than utilize Hire-A-Helper.com.

They were 2 1/2 hours late, possibly due to their schedule that involved work in Fredericksburg VA, followed by Williamsburg VA, then back north to Stafford (me) and then to Richmond..... Not sure who schedules or if they bit off too much distance. Unable to complete dinner plans due to their late arrival.
Pleasant and job well done. Would have been 5 stars if they were on time.

AB and his helper Disco were great! They arrived a little early, unloaded everything quickly, without any damage. Plus, they were understanding when my answer to "Where does this go?" was often, "I'm not sure yet...". They even got my 6' tall armoire in the apartment without issue. I plan to hire them to haul off the empty boxes too. Definitely would recommend.

With Duck Sokution movers I thought they did an excellent job. They were about an hour later than the time we had decided for them to show. They had run over in their time at another move. I understood though. I just with they had called to let me know they were running late. Once they did arrive though I was very pleased. It turned out that my goods had become damaged in transit (not at the fault of Duck Solutuons) and they were kind and advised on what to do. They finished the job very quickly and were very kind and professional. They did an excellent job helping with the reassembling of my furniture. I would recommend these movers to anyone and will be using them again for future moves.

These guys are so nice, professional, fast and great to spend a few hours with whlie moving. This is the second time that we have called on them to help us with our move. They loaded our PODS up for us in August of this year. When the PODS were delivered, everything was in one piece and it was all moved into our new home with no damage to furniture and/or walls. They were willing to work with me when it became difficult figuring out when our PODS would be delivered - even offered to clear their whole morning's schedule. We do not plan on moving any time soon, but if we do, we will DEFINITELY call them again. I cannot say enough about them - they were just great!!!!
