I spoke to Dependable Moving and Cleaning several times the week of move (including the day of) and Pamela, the customer service person and dispatcher, repeated back to me my notes on the importance of their being on time due to reservations for the elevators and docks at the buildings I was moving to and from. My reservation was from 1-2pm, they didn't get to my door until almost 3:30pm. By the time I got to my new building I was told I couldn't move because I had missed my reservation time. After begging, they gave me 30 minutes to unload all of my things. The movers were very good about moving quickly which I appreciated, but because of time, myself and my mother had to help, and they damaged an item due to rushing. After calling HireAHelper about my issues with the day, I was told they would release payment to Dependable after I submitted a complaint form and it was reviewed. Pamela called and text me repeatedly during that time telling me I had to tell HireAHelper to release payment immediately or she would send the police for theft of service. When I told her what HireAHelper said, she called me a liar and said she was sending the police to my house (which of course never happened). I would NOT use them again. Though the workers were quick and efficient, me and my mother shouldn't have had to move my things, and their customer service was awful.

Arrived within 15 minutes of the begining of the arrival window. The movers were very efficient and the truck was loaded much quicker than I expected. Highly recommend.

We called Dependable Moving to set up a request for movers for 2 days. They offered $25 per hour per mover with a minimum of 2 hours. They requested we use Hire A Helper to login and make the payment. After we paid, she explained that the system only said 1 days, Pamela explained it was an error and we will get them for 2 days. The first day they were late and the second day they didn't even showed up. We called Pamela and she said they were on their way but never showed up. We tried calling again and the phone began going directly to voicemail and the voicemail was full. We tried texting and emailing with no response. We called HireAHelper and they called Pamela and she lied saying that we were not happy with the rate and they offered an extra day for free (even when we have her text saying it was an error in the pricing). HireAhHelper didn't want to help us either disputing this charge to get our money back for the 2nd day they didn't show up. They are a scam and no one wants to take action and try to solve the issue with the customer. Will never use either of those companies.

Yes, they showed up on time. - the communication to confirm my reservation and to verify the work was completed was awesome. Both emails and text messages - easy to understand. The guys were professional, helpful, quick and efficient. I would totally recommend them - Thank you !!! This is the sort of work that I could never have gotten done on my own.- I needed to hire some helpers ! Check this off my list ! :)
