Hi to everyone this is Tim, the owner of Blaylock Transportation Moving Labor. We have 20+ years of experience. We are proud to service the Sacramento area and cover up to 200 miles around the city. We conduct background checks on all our professionals We are happy to accept any size jobs - large or small. We offer help for last-minute requests, taking onnext-day moves! We’ve helped to move homes, offices, storage unit contents and so much more. We can move pianos, new or used sofas (we wrap everything), appliances, TVs, computers, and much more. We can also provide packing services at your request. We don’t charge until we start to loading or unloading. Tim and Jay were great workers and did a wonderful job unloading and bring our furniture etc into the house. They were respectful, had great work ethic, and were very friendly and yet very professional. I would highly recommend Blaylock Transport Moving Labor Services. Hire-a-Helper on the other hand has some of the worst customer service reps I have had to deal with in many years. Miss communication and lack of clear understanding of how their own company works makes it difficult to deal with. I give Blaylock 5 stars and Hire-a-Helper 0 stars.

Blaylock movers did a great job. I had a bunch of heavy and bulky items to handle, and they were able to get everything in and up a couple flights of stairs with no issue. Quick, to the point, and efficient. Would use this company again.

Tim and Jay were great to work with in unloading our two containers. They were professional, years of experience, and friendly. They shared helpful suggestions on how to protect our hardwood floors; they provided runners so as to not damage the flooring. We would recommend them to any one looking for help to load or unload PODS container.
Hire-a-Helper on the other hand has terrible customer service and are inconsistent in the information they provide (or don't provide!).

I won't know how they did for a while, and when my container is unloaded I won't know how any possible damage may have occurred (during loading, transportation, or unloading).
Updated 5/3/21:
They did an amazing job! When I received my storage container (through PODS), I was surprised to find the door halfway open (PODS driver "secured" it). The guys at Blaylock packed the unit in such a way that NOTHING was lost! They also secured the load away from the door so that when shifting occurred, the door and tracks remained clear. I received a lot of compliments on their packing job.
