However, Family Movers came at last minute, on their day off from mo…read moreving and saved me from having to return a 24 Foot truck a day late and paying late fee penalties plus $85 for an additional day rental plus taxes and insurance on the rental truck. Family Movers was very careful with my furniture and belongings. They were very respectful. They even helped me with pictures because the previous movers in Tennessee, called Bennett's Movers had not used the furniture pads provided and ruined most of my things before Family Movers came to help me unpack. I got to see the difference between unprofessional movers packing and loading my things without caring, and R U Moving a company that made me wait for 9 hours to show up... However, at last moment on a Sunday, on the mover's birthday...Family Movers DID show up and made me wish I hired them FIRST to help me move. Family Movers are SO professional, and even helped me take photos of the damages caused by the previous moving company that was so unprofessional compared to Family Movers. This was my first time using a moving company, and I will ALWAYS recommend Family Movers to PROFESSIONALLY help me move. Family Movers helped me professionally move and carefully stacked everything from the 24 Foot Truck into storage in about 3 hours time, were available last moment when the other company could not be there, and helped me unpack and store all my things in a professional manner which was a MUCH BETTER experience than the other two moving companies. When I am ready for my things to go from Storage to the new home, I will ONLY call Family Movers, to professionally do the job. I highly recommend Family Movers in Florida to professionally move. I would Never recommend R U Moving in Florida, and definitely never recommend Bennett's Moving in Johnson City, Tennessee area. Family Movers is much more nicer and professional than ANY experience I had before. I wish I could give Family Movers more stars than only 5. It is more like 5 million stars. Great job, Family Movers. I appreciate your professionalism. Next time I will not use them last moment like that, they will be not only my first choice, but MY ONLY CHOICE to move, professionally. In fact I am soon going to call them when I have time to let them help me move from storage into my new home, when my schedule allows me to. They were so nice, I will hire them twice. :)

It wasn't their fault that they arrived 3.5 hours late to the job. However, because their first job went over by 3 hours (making their first job 7 hours!), they were exhausted by the time they came to our house. Also, not their fault was that we …read morehad an extra pod and twice as much stuff as they thought we would have. BUT, it was my understanding that they would arrive at 2pm, work for 2 hours, and be available for hourly service after the 2 hours. What happened was they arrived at 5:30pm on Saturday and filled one pod in approximately 2.5 hours. Because it was dark and the mosquitoes were fierce, they asked if they could come over the next day, Sunday on their day off to finish. I agreed since it was late, and after some phone calls to their boss, we planned on meeting at 10am the next day. While on the phone with the boss, he originally wanted to charge us an extra $25 transportation fee, but after I argued that they would be done by now if they hadn't been late, the boss agreed to waive the fee. The next day the young men showed up 30 minutes late. Not that big of a deal. When they arrived, one of them told me that since the boss felt bad about the previous day's late arrival, etc. etc, that he was going to reimburse us a couple of fees, roughly totaling $50. I was pleased to hear that, however according to my credit card transactions, it never happened. When I called and talked to the boss, Billy early on Tuesday, he had no idea what I was talking about and was suppose to get back to me and never did. That's not the worst of it though- The worst of it is that when they had finished packing the 2nd pod, there were many items that hadn't been packed! Because I'm a softy we still tipped the guys $60. I cried once they left though. Then, my husband and I opened the first pod, the one they had packed exhausted in the night, and saw what a horrible job they did with the last 5 feet or so. We then unpacked their job, and redid it, getting in EVERY LAST THING except for the huge pieces that they hadn't gotten in like the futon and bed headboards. Now my husband and I wonder how much of a better job we could have done ourselves with ALL of it, getting ALL of it in. I'm pretty sure we could have based on those last 5 feet of the pod where we got in SO much more than they did. Sorry for the War and Peace edition of my review. Bottom line is that we would NOT use this company again.
