I hired these guys despite the reviews I'd seen regarding late arrivals, etc., the price was great, and when moving, I didn't really have a huge budget for one of the places with better reviews. That being said, there were pros and cons with dealing with this company. Pros - The price was decent, the guys that they sent did work hard and get the job done within the two hour window allotted. Cons - They never called to confirm my appointment, I had once received a message saying they were busy with a move and would be calling me shortly, but then I ended up having to call them, at which point the woman I spoke with on the phone said that they had already had my information down for a move and that they had already called me. Then she proceeded to read me back the notes from my supposed call before that, all of which were inaccurate. (They had me moving from a 1bdr apt to another, when it was a 4bdr to a 2bdr with stairs, and then with two guys instead of the 3 man special i had signed on for). After I had gotten everything sorted out with her on the phone and confirmed with her several times that we were set with a 3 man crew to arrive friday morning @ 9am, we hung up and i was pretty confident that my moving woes were nearly over. The next morning rolls around, and thinking that the movers would be here any minute, I decided to go ahead and get several boxes out of the way so that the movers would be able to focus on some of the bigger items that i wouldn't be able to move alone... an hour rolls by and it's 10 o'clock, and no phone call, no anything... finally I call into the office at 10:15 and ask what's going on, and the lady tells me that they are running behind schedule, but would be here within the hour. this happens once or twice more until the crew shows up at almost 2pm, a man short and 5 hours late, after I had emptied everything but the largest items out of the pod. But the guys that did show up were great, and did work very hard for their money... I feel that the biggest let down of this service was simply their inability to effectively communicate. If I am being charged for a 3 man team to show up at 9am, then please make that so, but to still be charged full price for a team that was very very late and a man short? There should be some compensation for that, and it would have been better for the two guys that did come out having another man there to help, as I had planned.

I was able to book them just one day in advance, which was amazing. They were very friendly and worked hard. Although they sent two guys instead of three, they finished the job on time and were very cooperative. They were running behind but called and let me know what their ETA was. I would definitely use them again!

hired to unload/load a Pod. hard workers. did not go into extra time. also very nice and professional. even swept the Pod clean for me so I would not get charged for that. would not hesitate to hire again. highly recommended.

We also contact you the night before to confirm everything is still on schedule and the day of the move to coordinate our arrival time. You can expect communication from us untill we arrive. When we arrive we will introduce our self's and do a walk through to assess everything that needs to be moved. We will discuss with you the best options to relocate your items tarnish free so we are all on the same page. After the game plan is established you will be amazed with the techniques and equipment we use and blown away by our packing skills. So keep your expectations HIGH!!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The most important thing a customer can do is provide adequate protection for all there items such as moving pads bubble wrap and shrink wrap. Also let us do all the packing of the pod or truck. Make sure everything is packed in boxs and all units that need disassembled are broke down and ready to go.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The best part of moving is being able to take away the stresses that come with relocation for all of our customers! We enjoy helping the average hardworking American. There is nothing like the feeling of appreciation after a flawless relocation!!!
What training do you provide your crew members?
LMM is a family owned company that has passed down moving experience generation after generation. When we are training new employees we always send a 3rd man at no extra charge so that way the customer will always have 2 experienced movers at all times. This has been our practice for years and it is very effective ending in no damage to our customers belongings!!
