These guys were AWESOME! They worked non-stop from the time they got to our place. They brought all the equipment they needed, so we didn’t have to worry about that. They were careful with everything, and they made our move a breeze. I will definitely book them if we move again and will recommend them to my friends/family. Great service!

The 3 hr job became 6 hr job. They did subtract an hour for breaks and charged for half an hour for every hr above 3 hrs since their hired helpers didn’t show up that day. Hence they charged for a total of 4 hrs. Jim and another guy had to leave for another job after 3 hrs, leaving only 3 guys behind. I had to pitch in with my dolly and some elbow grease to keep up the momentum in 90degrees humid weather. While Brad and his team kept going, there was loss of efficiency and time. I paid the difference for their shortfalls

I'm sorry you didn't appreciate the fact we had five workers on the job for the first 3 hours of your move. I'm sorry you didn't understand that having your two pods on the street, one down the street on the other side, would lengthen the time.
I'm sorry you didn't appreciate the fact we offered to charge 1/2 of the time after 3 hours instead of full price.
Your help while appreciated actually slowed down the process of the three experienced movers left behind.
It was also time consuming and inefficient for my crew to disassemble furniture only to be told afterwards you were leaving it behind.
Moving items you were leaving behind to the curb as a favor to you also apparently wasn't appreciated, even though it took time away from loading your pods in a timely manner.
I hope you have a "much better and efficient" crew on your unload.

The service was extremely good! The team wrapped the furniture in blankets and stretch wrap. They covered the door frames so that nothing was scratched. They loaded the truck very efficiently. I would definitely use Jimbo’s again.

This was my second time hiring “Jimbo” and once again they exceeded expectations. Jim and his son arrived on time and prepared to work. They had all necessary tools to accomplish the work. They worked hard, were professional, respectful of my belongings and courteous. Also conscientious, trustworthy. They took extra care of the large pieces I had them move. They unwrapped, moved furniture and returned it as needed to gain access and clearance to position what they were moving. They cleaned up and left things as found or better.
I will definitely use them again if I have the need.

All customers will receive prompt and courteous service. Our goal is to ensure your moving experience is as quick and as painless as possible.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

You will have professionally attired movers that are clean and courteous with a professional attitude, with the goal of finishing your move quickly and safely.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

In order to increase the likelihood of an efficient, quick move: Label or organize boxes and tape them closed. Have bags for mattresses, especially if traveling a significant distance. If possible, have large pieces of furniture emptied with a clear path to the exit. Ensure you have moving pads (or substitutes) if we will only be present for the load. Know what's going beforehand so that we can give an accurate estimate and be properly prepared.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have managed moves from single rooms to homes over 5000 square feet. We have focused mainly on local moves but we do have experience in cross country moves in the past.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Being able to help lower the level of stress inherent to moving from a residence, regardless of size or reason. With 23 years of military service we have had to endure the stress of moving on many occasions and know from personal experience that a good moving crew greatly reduces that stress. We've all had bad experiences with movers and we strive to ensure we are not going to be one of those for our customers.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We train our associates in proper use of dollies. Preparing furniture to be loaded,e.g. use of pads, disassembly of certain items, etc.. Disconnecting and preparing appliances for movement. Proper lifting techniques and use of buddy lifts and equipment when necessary. Most importantly is the proper loading of household goods to maximize every inch available in the vehicle you've rented.
