Moving Simplified offers labor only crews to assist with often overlooked burdens that come along with moving . We offer trained employees to assist with every aspect of your move. Our moving specialists are trained to properly: Load & Unload rental trucks, pods, or semi-trailers Assist with in-home furniture placement and rearrangement Assist hanging your decorations, paintings, pictures, or wall art and decorations Assist in servicing all electronics and computers, hooking up electronics and anything else you could use an extra hand with! All moves of this type will use our moving specialists, as well as provide all tools, dollies, and supplies necessary to offer you this service of labor only, excluding furniture pads. We do offer paper wrapping of all furniture items for a small fee.

I had a bad experience, and would not use Moving Simplified again. The movers were nice fellows, and I treated them well. I offered them food and drink, and I helped them move items. However, they took off for 1 1/2 hours without letting me know, did not explain themselves when I asked where they went, and then, their boss had the audacity to charge me for that time! So, I was charged for time the two movers disappeared. Also, they broke several valuable items without even an apology. If Moving Simplified had not overcharged me, I probably would have used them again for another move. But not now, and I recommend you don't either.

Moving Equipment

Furniture dolly or straps:

We haven’t forgotten the “tried and true” methods either: appliance dollies, box dollies, 4 wheel dollies, and sheer manpower are still used in all moves!, (upon request, no fee)

Hand truck:

We are unique in that we use Shoulder Dollies, allowing for our movers to almost effortlessly lift and maneuver any piece, along with Forearm Forklifts, which are used to move your mattress., (upon request, no fee)

Plastic wrap:

At Moving Simplified, we understand the importance of protecting your belongings, and with years of experience, we have procedures in place to ensure their safety. All Dressers, armoires, china hutches, tables, etc. will be padded, rubber band, and shrink-wrapped for maximum safety. Your sofas will be shrink- wrapped and padded when necessary. All chairs will be padded individually to ensure safety. All mattresses are placed inside a mattress bag, ensuring its cleanliness and protection. All of these precautions are performed prior to the piece leaving the room!, (upon request, no fee)
