Hi Melissa, I am sorry to hear that your experience was less than perfect. At Up and Running Movers, our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. The reason why we were late was because the helper that was scheduled to accompany me to the job no call no showed which left me scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute amid a local and nationwide staffing shortage. The job was scheduled to begin at 1 pm. I could have no call no showed you but instead I promptly called you and let you know what was going on and was luckily able to find a replacement and make it to your house by 1:40 pm. The only damage we did to your home was a small scratch on your floor less than 4 inches and not deep by any means. This was an accident. We are only human and accidents happen, that is why Hireahelper offers insurance. We understand your frustration and tried to be accommodating and apologetic considering the fact that your floors were recently redone, but were met with nothing but profanity and insults and disrespect all while we tried our best to remain calm and never uttered a single bad word. As for the small chip on the bottom of your desk on the inside part where your feet go that only your dog would notice if they were looking for it, that was already there. Other than that, there were no other damages brought to my attention. I have heard stories of moving companies that steal things, milk the clock and intentionally damage things, but we still managed to finish the job within the allotted time despite having constant profanities and insults hurled at us while we were trying to help you, listen to you and do the job right. We understand your frustration and I hope you are able to get these claims resolved through Hireahelper. I also hope that you get the help that you need so that you don't take your anger out on other professionals that took the time out of their day to help you. A little respect goes a long way. I am a formerly homeless individual who started doing moving jobs in 2011 out of necessity and have since turned my life around after stints of incarceration, living on the street, living in rooming houses and most importantly acknowledging my faults and mistakes and GETTING HELP and making a commitment to a better life. I hope that one day you realize that we are all human and have our shortcomings and that nobody is perfect. We all have our own struggles and challenges in life that we are facing and I hope that you overcome whatever you may be going through. I also wish you the best of luck with your new home and hope that you would consider giving us another chance should you need moving assistance in the future. In fact, give me a call at my number. I'm no flooring professional, but I will personally travel to Home Depot and purchase whatever materials are necessary to repair the small scratch in your floor at my own expense and then travel to your home and fix it free of charge if it means I could earn your satisfaction. I'm not sure what you mean by we forgot to pack certain items last because we definitely waited until the end to load the items you wanted to pack last. That statement is false. The truck was filled to the brim with very little space. We did the best we could given the circumstances and this is coming from someone with 10 years of experience doing moving jobs. - Sean

I understand that you were upset with the way the dumpster was loaded; however, this problem could have been corrected had you mentioned something to myself or my helper before we left. We asked you several times if there was anything else we could do to help you before we left and you said no. Had you mentioned this to us at the job site we would have been more than happy to correct the problem. - Sean
