I was starting to unload my truck and sprained my ankle badly. Luckily, Hireahelper found these guys in less than 30 min and they were able to get to my location in 90 minutes and get everything into the new place in just under 2 hours, despite the need for a freight elevator and long hallway. All accomplished with due care and no mishaps. They saved my --ahem--skin today.

All four guys showed up on time and ready to work. The move took a total of 9 hours and we had to make two long trips out to the storage unit. They worked nonstop and never took a break during the extremely hot and humid day, except when driving to the storage facility.
I thought I knew how to load a truck, but these guys were absolute experts! They didn't want my help (which was frustrating for a Type-A person), but now I know that I would have just gotten in their way. They are a well-oiled machine and each group of two has their specific job which they have perfected.
They shrink wrapped all the furniture and TVs (I had provided old sheets, blankets and towels) and were very careful moving and loading everything. No extra dents, scratches or dings on the furniture or in the house.
I was hesitant that my storage unit wouldn't be large enough and was ready to rent another one. I debated with Dominic a couple times, but he told me just to have patience. I am happy to say he proved me wrong. Not only did they manage to get my whole house into that unit (and save me money), but they really took their time figuring out the best way to maximize the space leaving me some extra just in case.
I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience, and will definitely be using the same crew again when I move from the storage unit into my new home.

My husband and I have moved three times in the past three years, and MD Expert Movers were the BEST movers with whom we have worked. They were professional, hard-working, and conscientious. They arrived prepared, with plastic wrap, furniture blankets, and dollies. Upon completion of a large job, moving furniture down three flights of stairs and into a multi-story home, they even cleaned the inevitable marks on the walls that occur when moving furniture. What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
