Michael and John were brothers which I thought was pretty cool. They worked well together and we're very respectful of all our stuff. They also were kind to our little dog who was frustrated at being on a leash. We'd moved from California and had some very !ong days and were tired and these guys were a nice welcome. I would absolutely use them again although I hope I don't have to move for a very long time.

They were on time, they packed the truck very well, the helpers I used on the other side of my move could tell that they packed really good. I would recommend them to anyone in Charlotte.

The boys were totally professional and handled all of my items with care. I hired All in the Family in Dec 2015 to load my house contents. I had two issues with them, one involving the loading and one involving damage to my sofa. I will start with the sofa. As we were unloading my beige sofa the next day I noticed black stains on one arm and part of the back, then saw black footprints where someone had stood and walked on the couch springs area when the cushions were removed. I contacted the owner of AintheF Movers by email and sent him photos. I told him I would like to get the sofa professionally cleaned to ensure it didn't stain, and he apologized and agreed. I told him I would send him an estimate as soon as I could, which I did, and I asked him to confirm that he would reimburse me for it, and he agreed. So I got the sofa cleaned and emailed him the invoice. He responded that he would send me a check the next day. I never got it. I emailed him several more times, including my address and contact info each time, and trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. He never responded or sent me a check. I will also be filing a claim with Hire a Helper as I am now out the cost of cleaning the sofa. The other issue, upon arrival the lead guy commented that the truck may not be big enough for everything, but then assured my husband it would be fine and they would make it work. It didn't. So he said we should rent a trailer and come back the next day to get the rest. The mover told my husband there wasn't much left and they were leaving. So we paid them as agreed. But when he went upstairs to look around he found they had left a lot of stuff and it was scattered about the townhouse (which was 3 levels, a 2 story with a basement garage). So they had not bothered to try to gather everything and put it in one place, including a heavy bench on the balcony that one person can't manage alone. Since moving everything from the 2nd floor and the basement would take forever for someone alone, I had to drive back from WS to Mooresville after work to help him. After several conversations with U-Haul to work out all the logistics, we decided to pick up the trailer that afternoon and attach it to the truck but had to leave my car in WS and make another trip back to get it the following week from the new house in Durham! We barely got everything to fit in the trailer and our car, and got to the new house at 11 pm. I would have appreciated the movers telling my husband to get a bigger truck while he had the chance. We could have avoided all the extra driving and he would have had help loading everything. But even if they didn't do that, they should have made sure they helped as much as possible to organize what didn't make it on the truck and not leave me and my husband to do it all. We were exhausted. For this, coupled with their failure to reimburse me as agreed, I would not recommend this mover.
