They worked super hard for 2 hours straight and got my whole house packed into our moving storage container and van. I wouldn't have been able to do this move without their help! Super courteous and professional.

Incredible unhappy with my movers. There’s a fine print that you need to provide moving blankets and rope. When they first arrived, I asked if I should just go get some (Home Depot is around the corner from me), they insisted we don’t have time. I booked them for 2 hours and could have them up to 4, we had time. They were only there for 1 hour out of the 2, so I still had time. The main guy was pretty condescending to me from the beginning, really hassling me for ‘not being prepared’. I still had a fair amount of blankets provided to them, including more left behind unused. They didn’t take much caution in handling my stuff, and in fact scratched my floors. Since I didn’t provide the blankets and rope they’re not liable? Doesn’t give them a reason to destroy my property. I was cornered in my kitchen and forced to sign the completion form saying I’m not holding them reliable for anything and that they left ‘at 11:40’ when it was barely even 10. They kept saying ‘no worries at all everything will fit’ and ‘trust us we’ve packed thousands of pods’ we’re the experts’ in a rude way yet my desk chair and my vanity chair couldn’t fit in the end, the only two chairs I sit on in my house. They even said they could break down the chair if needed and they didn’t, they just left with abandon ‘oh yeah those wouldn’t fit’. To top it all off, the guy COUNTED the tip I gave him in front of me. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a subpar job, then ended up having to spend hours on my own rearranging to try and protect my belongings. The least they could do is refund me an hour, I understand the minimum but I ABSOLUTELY had time to rectify this, and was given an incomplete service.

Mover's response:
Sorry you were unhappy with your service but this is ridiculous, it's not a fine print it's the first message you receive from hreahelper when booking us, a list of all supplies you MUST have for yor move, plus we go over all the supplies you need for a safe move on the phone when we confirmed your job, you had none, which is why you signed away liability. You had an 8 foot pod, which we loaded all your stuff in perfectly. You had zero moving supplies protect yor items, we had you sign a waiver of liability as we can't be liable when no supplies are had to protect or secure items. You never asked us I you should get supplies you offered us 4 bed sheets for over 15 pieces of wood and ass furniture, that's it, which is why you had to sign away liability. No one scatched or damaged any items or it would have been brought to your attention immediately as we are fully insured, We also did a complete walk through before we left to make sure we got everything you wanted and there was not a single piece of damage on any item or your floor. We also stated that before you had this pod leave you definitely needed to put more blankets around items that you did not have supplies for you said that sounds wonderful, thanked us for the incredible service, and then gave us a tip whch nobody counted, they split it between the employees that were there which is what they do on every job. This is the exact reason we tell people the supplies they need before evey job and make them wave liability if they do not have them, especially for a job going cross country. Just because you were unprepared for your own job does not give you the right to blame us, hireahelper went over all this with you as well. Best of luck to you

I strongly do not recommend this company. The gentlemen helping me with the move were great, but the issue is with the owner, David.

Why to avoid this company like the plague:

First, they arrived 3 hours late. Upon completing the move after 2.5 hours, I paid via HireAHelper's website portal for that exact time. David called me completely manic and tried to explain that he does not accept 15 or 30 minute incremental payments, even though HaH's website allows you to do so. He wanted an extra $40 and threatened to call the police if we did not pay. I said go ahead. He had his movers stay at my house, but I had to leave to pickup a UHaul.

THE SHERIFF'S DEPT. SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE. Since I was not there, I spoke with them on the phone and explained what happened. The sheriff thought the situation was hilarious and his time was wasted, which I completely agreed with.

David continued to harass my wife and I for hours afterwards. Keep in mind this was all over an additional $40, which I did not owe them based on HaH's policy and payment method.

Please do not hire this company so you can avoid this horrendous nightmare of an experience as well.

I don't even know what to say to this man, honestly covid has made people feel so entitled to things when they have no right whatsoever. Let's be honest here, You tried to cancel your job 1st thing in the morning because pod's couldn't deliver your pod in time. You called us later in the day to see if we can squeeze you into our day still to fill a uhaul instead, we said sure as soon as we're done with this job, arrival time of 2 to 3 pm, you agreed, our start time for your job was 3pm sharp, nobody was late. We then did your job perfectly which took 2 hours and 50 minutes (3 hours) At the end of which you tried to not pay at all for any of it (the whole job). You were then sent one text message stating if you did not release payment the police would be called, (far from harassment, Keep in mind we record phone calls and keep all text messages) you're response was to call us all scumbags and still didn't want to pay us, which is when the cops were called, As it's theft to use a service and then try to not pay for it. Once the cops made you release payment, which you still shorted us on, No one has contacted you in any way shape or form, Your little entitled scam artist behavior is unacceptable. We refuse service to you now or in the future and trying to scam people who go out of there way to help you will get you no where in life. Best of luck with that.

They were fantastic! We used them to unload our 26 ft truck into a two story house. They were extremely polite, hard working, and knowledgeable. They were also very considerate of our things and where they should go. I hired them for 4 hours and they were done in less than 3. I would use them again 100%.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?

What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job.
