Melancon Moving And Freight Services is a family-owned and operated business, with over 21 years of experience, that provides moving labor services to load and/or unload your moving truck or POD. In addition, we also provide packing services, as well as pre and post-move cleaning of homes and apartments, for an extra charge. Our company services all of central Illinois, including; Decatur, Springfield, Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, Lincoln, Clinton, Taylorville, and Mattoon. We look forward to providing you with a professional moving experience. Please Note: 1) We do charge an extra $25.00 per job/per location, for any flights of stairs past the second floor (unless there is an elevator that can be utilized). 2) Anything more than a 3-Man team requires a minimum of 72 hours notice. 3) We are unable to accept any job if we have not been able to make contact with the customer after two (2) attempts, in order to discuss the details of the move, even if our schedule is open for that particular date.

On time and know how to pack a pod! A huge thank you to Melancon Moving for re-packing my pod. Douglas called me the day before to find out what kind of job he was getting into. I gave him the details that he was re loading a sixteen foot pod that was loaded incorrectly. He was on time. He also discovered damage to my dresser made by the previous pod packing company. Good eyes.
