Helpers arrived on time and went right to work. They had some special straps to move the heavy stuff and they were careful bring the furniture in through the door. They placed things in the rooms I asked them to. This is the second time I have used A Move Ahead Movers and I would definitely recommend them.

I scheduled them to unload once I arrived in Tampa, Florida, for 4pm to 5pm. They called a week earlier to tell me they would be flexible since they knew I was driving the rental truck and may be delayed by traffic. I asked to change arrival time to 5pm to 6pm. I kept in touch, notifying them that I should be there by 6pm. I arrived at 6pm, but they did not show up and the woman said that the crew had started another job, and that the movers would come the next morning. I was very upset that they were NOT flexible which forced me to stay in a hotel for the night, since I didn't have furniture to sleep on. When the movers came the following morning, they were very careful with my belongings and were very friendly and helpful. Chris and John were great!

Matthew and Wes were absolutely brilliant. They were on time, courteous, and very well equipped for the job. They worked diligently unloading our packed to the max 24 foot u-haul truck. They were very respectful of our property and even set up the beds in each bedroom. I would highly recommend you hire these guys for your next move. Don't make your move with out them!

The guys called to confirm the appt and arrived a few minutes early. They both were just excellent and treated my stuff like it was their own. They declined my suggestion to take a break and finished my truck unload early enough to spend some time helping to assemble a king bed frame and a glass dining room table. I couldn't be more pleased and suggest you ask for Matt and Horacio if you need help in central FL.

I understand i was enthused and excited to get this PODS empty and move on.......so the half hour the two men gave me was nice, but came at such a late stage in the operation.' Vanessa had called saying an earlier time of arrival. The workers had to travel a long time to get here. i got up and started working unloading the PODS. To my credit, yes, the two did less than half an hour, and blessings on them.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After booking with us you can expect a phone call from our offices just to reach out and get a feel for your unique situation. We will go over all needed supplies and firm up all the details.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Upon moving day you will receive a call from your movers within an hour of your booked arrival window. The movers will reach out just to make sure everything is still going according to plan and will give you their expected GPS arrival time. We know that nothing is more stressful than being nervous that the movers aren't gonna show up, so we like to put your mind at ease.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
If you will be hiring us to load your rental truck, trailer or portable shipping container it is imperative that you provide an adequate amount of moving blankets, plastic stretch wrap and rope to avoid serious damage to your items. The blankets can usually be rented with your truck or portable shipping container and are worth every penny. We can provide rope and plastic wrap for an additional fee or it can be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot in the moving supplies section.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled literally every type of move from local to long distance, from household to office/commercial. We have handled everything from medical equipment to flight simulators and we are equipped to move large items such as pianos and grand pianos.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is that we get to help someone with literally the hardest and most stressful task of their adult life.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew leaders are required to have a minimum of 4 years professional moving experience and upon hire, undergo at least 2 weeks of training with the owner of the company (a very particular veteran mover in the industry) before being set free to operate independently. All crew members undergo the same training and we typically only hire crew members who possess at least 2 years minimum professional moving experience. We don't send rookies, period.
