THIEVES! One star is only because they actually unloaded the truck. I’m not sure where to start with these guys. To start they showed up 3 hours late. First it was the previous job running over, then a supposed accident on the interstate that I took to work and didn’t see, regardless I had to leave for work by the time they showed up. One of the helpers requested to move the truck so the ramp would be on the concrete, which is a fair request. They moved the truck and never returned the key (which we didn’t notice until 5 minutes after they left). My wife and I both began calling and texting the helpers to ask them to bring the key back, which they did not respond. We contacted hireahelper, who also tried contacting Bender moving, with no response to them either. For multiple days hireahelper and ourselves tried contacting them, with zero response. My wife and I had to drive 2 hours each direction with our 8 month old baby to get the key replaced. 3 days after our move, when we were almost finished unpacking is when we discovered why they really weren’t answering the phone; THEY STOLE MY AR-15. It’s been over a week and the phone numbers we had for them have been changed or turned off, they haven’t responded to hireahelper, hireahelper refused to withhold payment (so yes we had to pay the people that stole our property), and a police report has been filed. Hopefully they find and charge these thieves.

When they are working, they work well and packed the truck quickly. The problem is that they were supposed to be there between 8am and 9am, and didn’t show up until 10am. One of the guys then spent a chunk of time on the phone apparently talking to other customers. They also took an hour lunch break, so instead of starting at 9 and being finished at noon, they started at 10 and finished at 1:30.

Don't even attempt to hire this company. They never answered their phone the day of our move and never showed up. Point is they can't be trusted to even let you know they won't show. We ended up having to move half of the items ourselves and hired another moving company for the next day to help move our heavier items. If your in Colorado Springs don't even bother with these guys. We just called AllMySons moving and storage and they accepted the job and had a crew helping us the next afternoon. Oh and hireahelper wasn't much help finding a replacement so don't even bother using this website, just call around.

This moving company never showed up for our move. We received a text about 30 mins prior to the agreed arrival time (3pm) stating the lead/owner just found out his crew was in an accident that morning and wouldn't be able to make it to our job. He said he would try to send a different crew out but they wouldn't arrive (IF they arrived, for at least an hour after the start time). Long story short, he basically left us high and dry without movers. The job was cancelled and neither hire a helper nor the moving company seemed at all concerned that they didn't fulfill their end of the bargain. I have empathy for anyone who got into an accident but the entire experience felt like the owner just didn't schedule his crews correctly and they wanted out of the job. We live in the country and he mentioned more than once that it was quite a drive. Overall, they are shady and unreliable.

Please be prepared by having boxes taped up and ready to go. Mattress in the pads if preferred and beds broken down. If there is something specific you need the movers to do let them know. We try to stick to a strict protocol on loading trucks EVERYTIME so everything arrives safely

My favorite part about being a Mover is being able to save the day and helping the customer thru stressful situations. Moving isn’t easy. Especially when you’re moving your own items. So being able to show up and know exactly what needs to be done to get the job done feels good
