Also 10 moving blankets are available for local moves at no additional cost to you. We also have experienced professionals to handle both household and office moves. Hired for 10am the texted they would be late by an hour due to traffic. Chked no traffic problem. Hr later asked what was going on no reply. Ignored all request. Hrs later they called saying this move got mixed up with another. Will never use again. This was in virginia. I had used this company in maine and they were excellent. Go figure

I guess they did a good enough job with the actual move, but I had ordered 6 helpers and only 5 showed up and trying to get the invoice amount adjusted through Hire-a-Helper has been a nightmare. So far, it has taken 3 phone calls and it still isn't fixed! Instead of my invoice amount going down for 1 less helper, it actually went up! Apparently from the time Moving Engineers and Logistics booked the job and actually did the job (a matter of 2 days), they changed their rates!!! When I explained to Hire-a-Helper that this was NOT MY PROBLEM, they said of course and assured me that all will be fixed and the invoice corrected accordingly. I am not convinced and like I said, so far 3 phone calls with no resolution.
In addition to showing up with one fewer helpers, they also came about a half hour late. They were supposed to shrink wrap and rope and they did not. They were not uniformed and I guess I don't really care, but they advertised "uniformed crew". They were nice enough guys and I GUESS they were respectful of my property; HOWEVER, my Kindle seems to be missing. My bad for not completely hiding it (it wasn't obviously out in the open either), but I didn't want to pack it in a box because I wanted to be able to read it on the long ride to my new home. I am not saying for sure that one of the workers took, but it just seems funny to me that it was there when the movers arrived and not there after they left. Hmmm...
I am just glad it is over now. In the end I would not recommend Moving Engineers and Logistics and I am not even sure about Hire-a-Helper. We'll see if they fix my invoice correctly.

These two young men were on time. They were complete professionals. They were cheerful, friendly, knowledgeable and hard working young men. I absolutely would use them again, and have already given the Moving Engineers and Logistics information to Beck Estate Sales. These two were really impressive!

The movers were very professional and dedicated to getting my household goods inside even in the pouring rain. They were diligent in covering up my things as to protect them from the rain. They did a great job.

Tried to call them 3 different times .Got voice mail. He called me back a day later. Workers had an hour to get there and were 30 minutes late. I set up move for 4 hour's and only needed 2.Sill was charged for 4.

These guys were awesome. Our original movers did not show up and hire-a-helper arranged for these guys to take there place. They arrived within 2 hours of being contacted, were extremely polite, helpful, and professional, and took great care to protect our belongings. I could not recommend them more highly, and would use them again without a second thought.
