Hire a helper was great in locating the right helpers for moving our valuables into Pack Rat containers. I went to the movers ( Patrick's) website and read all their reviews which solidified the choice we made to go with them. Patrick called within 24 hours to understand what all needed to be done. He provided great instructions on what we needed to do, as far as packing, such as filling the cabinets and drawers of the furniture to utilize all the space to get more into the containers. He also took the time to explain how to wrap the furniture to ensure they traveled well with no incident. Blankets were crucial and so was the plastic wrap. We wanted to save money so my husband and I wrapped almost everything ourselves. Patrick and Matt showed up on time the morning we agreed upon. They did a walk through with us to see everything and began packing the containers. They were awesome. I was very nervous about 2 things- one being can we get everything into 2 16' containers and the other was were we going to run into a weight problem per container. Patrick set my mind at ease when he said it is highly unlikely we would be overweight, which was a huge relief. I had to leave to run errands while they continued to load the containers, when I returned, to my amazement and joy, everything was loaded into the one container. The 2nd container was only half filled. I was shocked. I even had a 3rd container on hold as a back up. Patrick and Matt know what they were doing, they worked fast and hard and truly cared about our belongings. I would recommend them to everyone without hesitation. I would use them again in a heartbeat. If you desire a smooth move,the secret is to be organized, pack up all your belongs (although they will do that for you, as well) and let Patrick and team do their thing. You will be very pleased.

The movers I hired were here waiting for me a few minutes before their scheduled time. They got right to work and moved everything in quickly and efficiently, finishing well before the time limit. I scheduled my Pack Rat Pod to be unloaded into my new condo. Patrick called me a day in advance to let me know the exact time and to discuss my move. He and is assistant showed up on time and were extremely professional. They put my dining room table, hutch, and bedroom furniture together as well.
When my lease is up and I am ready to move, I will definitely contact this company again.

These guys were awesome. Patrick and Shannon were there early which worked out great for me. They were organized and planned out the whole loading process up front. Nothing was even slightly damaged, they were very careful. The job was done quickly, and on top of all this, they are genuinely nice guys! They're true Irishmen and fun just to talk to. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great moving labor help. I've never been so happy to write a good review...they deserve it!
