Trent and Rob were outstanding movers. They were actually early and got right to work. They shrink wrapped our furniture and were very careful moving everything out to the truck. I would definitely use them again!

They were a few minutes late (not a problem) but the junior helper complained when the senior wanted to stay later to make up the time. There were a few wall dings when they were done. But they worked really hard and really fast and did a wonderful job packing the container. I will hire them again.

We hired 3 movers for 3 hours with the expectation that it would be enough. We ended up needing an additional 1.5 hours. They were on time but were clearly confused with how to get the ramp off of our truck and take down the wall. There was some confusion as to leadership between the three and what each one was expected to move. After 30 minutes, the first items were in the house. There wasn't clear communication between the three and compared to movers we have used in the past, these guys were slow and borderline lazy when it came to any item that wasn't in a box. Once we got to the walls of boxes, then things got moving and their service stepped up. I understand it was a large 28ft freight truck, but the movers that packed the truck, also 3 men (4.5 hours), were able to not just pack the truck with incredible precision, but they also wrapped our furniture/pictures/misc household items in blankets and saran wrap. At one point, one of the movers with Phil's Excellence asked for help to carry a twin box frame and would often only be carrying one small item at a time at first. As stated previously, there work ethic and speed did improve later in the move and we gave them positive feedback for that. They were all friendly and respectful but one guy, Ron (I believe) was the real work horse. Even after giving them the tour of the home so they knew where items needed to be placed, we are finding boxes that I directed in one room, in a completely different room. I'm glad to have the truck unloaded and I appreciate their help, but am extremely thankful we did not have this team packing the truck.

We had a great experience with Phil's Excellence and Hire-a-helper. We scheduled a team of two for three hours to help move into our new home. Trent and Dean showed up right on time and were ready to work! They emptied the 16 foot "1800PACKRAT" container we had previously filled in just under 90 minutes. Once all the stuff was in, they helped move it to the final resting room. They both showed initiative to keep working and asked "what else can we do" a number of times. They weren't professional movers, but there was nothing wrong with that. I had a two-wheel dolly for them to use. Overall, it was a great experience. I would be happy to have them help us again!
