This is the second firm I have used with Hire a Helper and was again VERY VERY happy with professional staff. Their ability to carefully wrap and protect and in some cases minor disassembly of furniture (legs off tables) pack truck and unpack/assemble at the receiving end.
Absolute recommendation of these folks. Hard workers the entire job asking, what else, if there is anything else needing to be done.
Completed 45 min ahead of what I projected in time. Great job. Worth using !

HORRIBLE! As if moving isn't stressful enough as it is. These movers didn't show up to assist me in loading and unloading of my truck. And I had a very strict timeline. When I called them and left messages they never answered and never returned my calls. Not once!!
I had called and talked to a female about three days before the move and she told me everything was ready to go and we were good. They were supposed to show up between 9 and 10 am and they never came. I started calling both of their numbers provided around 10:30 am and again every half hour until around 12:30 when I finally gave up. They never once returned my call!
I had to find other movers with a few hour window to complete the job.
You may not heed my advice and if you choose not to...I would STRONGLY recommend finding a back up mover in case these guys are horrible with you too. Even if they are able to respond to my comment, nothing they say can explain how they couldn't have called and cancelled. How SOMEONE in their organization could have called and cancelled!
How can you possible trust these guys handling your items?! DON'T TRUST THEM!

They came early (which was a plus), and they went right to work. They were extremely courteous and handled the boxes and furniture with care. They did a fantastic job. I could not have moved without their help.

They came saw and conquered! They were able to disassemble two large pieces of furniture and load a large pod in only two hours. I plan on hiring them when it is time to finish packing and moving into the new house.

These moving labor helpers were the third ones hired since the first did not show up and the second perhaps did not accept the job. These movers had to come a very long distance and were professional, competent, courteous, and very hard-working. We would recommend them to anyone! They were just great!

The two gentlemen did a great job and were very professional as well as friendly. The only problem was they weren't prepared to pay the tolls. This is part of the travel cost of doing business, so if not prepared and included in the cost, this should be discussed ahead of time. I'd definitely use this company again but would make sure they either know a travel route that doesn't require the toll or are prepared to pay using a credit card or EZpass.
