The Labor Guys did everything possible to make my move happen successfully, from wrapping things that needed it to loading the truck (to the brim I might add) in a manner in which the items would not be damaged in the 1,000 mile treck. I really appreciate them and their fair price.

If you're interested in nice guys, then this is the moving company for you. On the other hand, ifits quality of service that interests you then maybe you should look elsewhere. We rented the largest available truck for our move. We were unloading a 30 x 10 storage unit into a 26 foot rental truck. I advised the loaders that there was a ton of stuff to load onto the truck so they would need to be mindful of this as they loaded. As a consequence of poor planning and space management, they weren't able to get all of our things into the truck. They arrived late and took much longer than expected to load. We had scheduled our move out for that day. The office of the storage facility closed prior to us being told that they wouldn't be able to fit everything. Consequently, we had to leave over a thousand dollars worth of our things in the storage facility and basically give it all away. They unloaded a portion of the truck to try to accommodate the items that didn't make the original pack. This required four (4) extra hours of loading time. Now on top of losing those items; when we arrived at our destination, we had new problems. When we arrived at our new place, we discover (actually the unloaders discover and show us) all kinds of damage that our things suffered as a direct result of poor loading. Our sofa has a rip, the leaves of our dining room table are both scratched and basically ruined, irreplaceable African hand-carved candlestick is broken, the arm of a dining room chair destroyed, our buffet table is chipped, and the list goes on and on.
In summary, I personally wouldn't use them again. But to be fair, they were very nice and cooperative. I just think they were in "over their heads"!!

Great Job! Fast, clean, and very professional. The guys were able to finish everything in less than 2 hours! Really worked hard and it made my life so much easier. My move was stress free because of them! Thank you Labor Guys!

The two guys -- Zack and Darryl -- from The Labor Guys were great! They not only moved furniture from upstairs into my garage, they rearranged a few items to minimize the disruption and they also ensured they placed everything carefully. I would hire the labor guys again. They didn't get there on time (about an hour late), but they called and explained there was a mixup, so at least we knew they were still on their way. The men were nice and pleasant to deal with. All we needed was help moving heavy things from our house onto a moving truck and they did just that.

Hire them only if you don't want to move and you are too attached to the old place, or you have several days to wait for helpers to come...that's the only way to be happy with their service.
If you really want to move your things...don't even think about Labor Guys.
I made the arrangements with them to get all my stuff moved on 30th of March and the plan was to show up to my house between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. In the morning we agreed on the phone to get a call as soon they will be on the highway heading to my place.
No call was received till 3:30pm when they told me the their truck was broke down and will take some extra time to reach me. As a bonus I was assured that 3 guys instead of 2 only will be send to speed up the work. I was happy with that info and I've continued to wait for them. After 4:30pm I've started calling them and the answering machine was the only thing I've got.
6:30pm I gave up and started loading all my furniture by myself.
Next day I've made few call to them and to HireAHelper.com. Labor Guys they never answered and with HierAHelper.com I was several times on hold without getting a human been on line.I left my contact details to them and later on I've got a call from them asking me if I can agree to reschedule my move.
I gave them my feedback for the Labor Guys service horrible service and asked them for the refund.

Great help and great fun. I was looking for someone to help make movin tolerable. They nearly made it downright enjoyable.

this was the 2nd time to use the labor guys. each time they were late. this last time 2 men arrived one was a good worker the othe one was on the phone and didnt even know how to put a bed together. the job was not completed and should of only taken no more than 2 hours....because the job was not completed the owner apologized an said he would return and finish. i said that would be fine an willing to pay for the time to finish. tried to call the owner to sechedule a time to return an received no responds after several tries. now i'm left with a job not done an less than 1 hour of work...hate to have to hire new guys an pay for 2 hours.
