Called at the last minute to say the rain had slowed them down about 2 hours and it was 10 am. Left bmp saying it would between 12:30 and 2:00 pm but told me when I called him back 2 hour delay. Then we could not get him on the phone and neither could hire a helper. We had to cancel and hire a helper did find us more help but by then it was a little after 2:00. We had already picked up the rental truck. The new guys were great.

They were a little late due to Atlanta traffic, but worked 3 hard hours and moved most of the items we wanted moved. I didn't expect them to get as much done as they did. Will be using them for my mom when she moves.

My appointment was for 2pm. At 1:50pm I received a call from HireAHelper saying one of my two movers was sick and therefore my job had been cancelled. HireAHelper said they had a few options for me - one was more expensive and I would have to pay the difference. The other was cheaper but had no background check. I could find two people on the street with no background check for much cheaper than $200. I ended up recruiting family to help me move and luckily didn't have anything extremely heavy.
Would have appreciated a call from Jack of Trades directly vs. HireAHelper. Would have been good to know that your business is so small that if one worker is sick, there is no one who can substitute.

The good thing is they did the job I asked, in the time they said it would take. The bad is that anything that could get scratched, did. I had blankets to cover everything, but that was not their biggest concern. I would hire them again but be more watchful as to how they were loading everything.

Jack of Trades showed up on time, they were prepared for the job, worked very hard with no complaints, were more than willing to do whatever was asked of them and we plan to use them again the near future. I highly recommend this this company.

Somehow, with two weeks to prep and move, I selected the day after Atlanta was plundered by Winter Storm Leon. Needless to say, that didn't happen. Nate and his guys stayed in touch with me all through that debacle and, when the weather had improved enough and I had things rescheduled, showed up exactly when arranged, moving down a flight of stairs in snow and up another flight of stairs at the new place, with nary a word of complaint. They worked hard, did a great job, had a great attitude and finished the work within the allotted time. I have already recommended them to two other people who will be moving soon. Thanks fellas!

Overall good. They were very fast, but they had a lack of tools to do the job properly (assembly of furniture and removal of doors, ect.). Other than those few things they were fast and very nice and I would recommend them.
