II never used a service like this before. The two young men that showed up from Caring Transitions were wonderful. They showed up early and on a 90 degree day didn't stop til the job was done. They even had to unload two pianos. and go to a different house to unload on of the pianos. I would use Caring Transitions again.

I received two men for my movers. One was very motivated and ready to work. The other was looking for any excuse to slack which made me feel sorry for the one doing all the work. I would use this service again, because the job was completed as promised, but I felt sorry for the hard working guy paired with the slacker.

The two guys that arrived 15 minutes late were very respectful but in my opinion were not experience movers. They were able to move the packed boxes with no issues but had difficulty moving the furniture. This included a futon frame that was removed out of a room by a female because the two guys could not figure how to get it ou…read moret of room.
Also I was told the price quoted to me on the phone was incorrect by one person but I was called the next day by someone else stating the quoted price was correct so he came by with a new invoice probably because the addition on the old invoice was incorrect.
The price was ver good but I would not use Caring Transitions again based on the inexperienced movers.

The decision to hire Caring Transitions was the best we made in our whole crazy relocation. We moved from WI to NC and had multiple issues along the way, which led to multiple reschedules with the movers. Nick and his crew were extremely flexible and optimistic during this stressful time. Nick and a helper unpacked a 22" truck filled to the gills with boxes in less than 2 hours and even set up our bed. It was almost like they were unpacking for their own home.

It was the worst move ever. One of the movers showed up and hour late and left 30 minutes early. The other guy was good and worked hard though.

There were a couple communications issues which resulted in one of the movers not riding with the other and ultimately showing up late. When we later found out that same mover left early it became his last day of work. Showing up late and leaving early are not how we conduct business and because that mover failed to follow our policies he has been replaced with a new hire. I understand why you were not completely satisfied with the service so please accept my apologies.

I used this company the day before this transaction. They originally arrived 30 minutes later than schedule and from what I could see did not due a very well packed professional job. My understanding from the two young folks that were sent were that they were college kids working a summer job and were not really trained profes…read moresionally but have just done a lot of packing. I needed things packed tight and in their rush to leave, they simply packed what they could, not very well or tightly packed at all. The next day, the other moving company ended up unpacking some their work in order to get me the space requirement I needed and did a very good job of it. Unfortunately, I ended up paying to separate companies to move the same things over again. Not good and professional business in my book. Think the owner of this company, in their zeal to just fill more jobs and get more pay, did me wrong as a customer by sending untrained nonprofessionals to do the work. The workers were very respectful and professional individuals but were just not trained to do what they were tasked to do professionally.

They requested a family members help and when that went horribly wrong they blamed my family member and would not cover for damages. When you go online and request 3 movers that is all we send. If you needed 4 movers you could have requested 4 and that is what we would have sent. If your brother is not an experienced mover he should not have been moving and that is how he broke your item. I didn't even charge you for the time my movers helped him try to put that item back together. that is a full hour discounted that I still have to pay my movers out of my pocket. We tried to be helpfull and a 1 star is how we are thanked.

We rescheduled your job to meet your new time frame the day of the move and that was the earliest the movers could get there. You did not provide enough blankets to protect your own furniture. We cannot provide blankets for a one way move. They used every blanket provided. 3 hours is not enough time to load an ABF trailer so yes, they went over on time. Load was finished by family so we cannot comment on condition of furniture load not done by our company. I'm sorry you are not completely happy.

Two men showed up on time, were very friendly and helpful and fit ALL of my stuff into a UHAUL truck and worked diligently until it was all unloaded into my new home. Would recommend this team to another. Be aware that not much can be done in just two hours (the quote estimate's length of time).

The helpers were absolutely fantastic, and we couldn't have had a successful move without them! They were very courteous and professional, and even when there was a glitch with one employee calling out, they were able to get another professional out and take care of the job before the scheduled time was up. They were friendly, h…read moreard-working, and incredibly strong. Even though they had to walk up two flights of very narrow stairs on a hot day, they stayed positive. Also, the stairwell had very old woodwork, and they were very careful not to scratch anything. Awesome movers!

I used Caring transitions twice now ad wouldn't use any other company if my life depended on it. I had a pod and it wa quite small, but the guys we had were very professional and very, very quick and moved with care. Nothing broke, everything was packed in there tightly and secured and I even had some room left over. This secon…read mored time, the guys got there and unloaded everything fast and careflly, as always. A great bunch of workers! I would reccomend them to anyone. Their price are excellent and they get the job done!

We had our stuff unloaded at a local storage location and they were right on time and did a wonderful job of fitting all of our personal effects in the storage room.

Caring transitions lived up to its name. They were overbooked so the operations manager came in person to help us. He was accommodating and fast. He added not only muscle to the work but brains too by advising on how to fit a lot of stuff in a small trailer. Highly recommended!

I was very pleased with this company. There was a huge storm in VA when I got here. I initially hired 2 men for 2 hours. I called a couple hours prior to the start time I knew I would need more help than that, especially with no sleep, since I was driving all night. They got me another man plus another hour I had booked at first…read more. they continually called to see how things were going. I ended up having to add a fouth hour, they gave me a great rate and very courteous and professional movers. I strongly recommend this company.
