Fine job. I'm happy. Didn't have my correct phone number, so it took us a while to find each other in this large apartment complex, but other than that I have no real complaints.

Outstanding job! The gentlemen from Henry Moving called ahead to let me know they were en route and once they arrived they worked quickly and carefully. The container was expertly packed with all furniture wrapped in shipping blankets. I recommend them highly and will contact them again if Uncle Sam ever decides to station me back in this area!

Details:
The four gentlemen that showed up worked hard for the first hour when they were moving items stored in the garage. After that the service went downhill quickly as they moved boxes and furniture down the stairs. I ended up paying for an additional 0.5 hours just to try to get them to move the furniture down but as they did not even get close to finishing and I had to get additional people to help finish.
The workers were extremely slow and seemed to be milking the clock. They fiddled with their gloves for several minutes before attempting to pick up a piece of furniture, would set it down, and then mess with their gloves again. They damaged furniture and our couch, washer, and dryer all have nasty scuffs and scrapes on them. The walls inside the house were severely scratched and had numerous gouges from the movers as well that had to be repaired prior to our moving out. I also caught them tossing boxes to each other to avoid having to walk a few steps.
I assisted during the move and carried more and did more than the four guys I paid to help. At one point I went out to see what was taking them so long and I found three guys sitting there watching as one guy was stacking a couple of boxes in the moving truck.
I caught one of them smoking inside the moving truck even after in my initial solicitation of services I asked for the workers not to smoke around or near our stuff as my daughters have severe asthma and have trouble breathing.
I have waited awhile to post this review because I wanted to see the results of their packing job when I unloaded the moving truck. Extremely poor and abysmal packing job. Heavy items were on top of light items, crushing them. Things were not packed tightly at all and everything had shifted and fallen. To put their ineptitude in perspective, the two guys I hired from another company to unload the trailer were able to fit everything into a 10'x25' (250 sq ft) storage unit where the four guys from Henry Moving Company used 8'x43' (344 sq ft) worth of space which resulted in me paying several hundred dollars more for space in the moving trailer.
I know the workers were probably just summer hires but the rate I was charged I expected professionals. I would have had better service and saved a lot of money if I would have hired the people standing outside U-Haul or Home Depot.

Were they prepared for the job? Yes
Did they work hard? No
Were they respectful of your property and goods? No
Would you use them again? Absolutely not

Although the crew arrived 1/2 hour late, they did call me to let me know. I had scheduled 4 hours and they actually were done in two! Very courteous guys and did a great job protecting my furniture and walls. Would definitely use them again.

They arrived right on time and worked very hard to get everything sorted for us in record time. I was impressed. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

They were late getting here but that was due to GPS not registering this new development. After talking to them and giving them directions they arrived and did a good job. Very pleasant and personable.
