Rent a Mover was scheduled to come between 8 am and noon and failed to show up at all. I am now waiting for another mover who will not be here until 4 PM. I have had to cancel my own appointments because Rent a Mover failed to keep theirs and never notified me of a delay or problem.

I have to first say that due to my job, I have moved over twenty-five in my life. The moves that had quality people helping you were the ones that went the smoothest and easiest. The move I had with George and Colin was one of those moves. They were quick, conscientious and most importantly for me, easy to get along with. Nothing worse than hiring jerks with attitudes. You do not get that with these two. I recommend them unequivocally. You win with this company - count on it.

The Rent-A-Movers did a good job. They contacted me early morning of my move to let me know that a problem had arose with their first appointment. Up until the time of my appointment, they continued to apprise me of the problems that were occurring with the first appointment. They were 2 1/2 hours late getting to me because of the snafu with first appointment's moving truck situation. Nothing that occurred was Rent-A-Movers fault, but I think they should have rearranged their schedule to accommodate their other appointments. It was late afternoon when the first appointments move finally got underway. I called to tell them I really needed to get my truck pack, like right now. After I assured them that my packing would take no more than 30 minutes, they immediately sent a second crew to pack my truck. As promised, my packing took exactly 30 minutes. They took great care with my items. They professionally packed my truck where by when I reached my destination everything was in place as packed. I would definitely recommend using these young men.

Rent-A-Mover company had been scheduled (4) days prior to Sunday June 5th to help us unload an interstate shipment which we carried from Northern Virginia to Florida. This so called "professional" outfit notified us less than 12 hours before delivery time was scheduled and cancelled. No call-no explanation as to why. They didn't even have the decency to give us some last minute alternative options. Stay away from Rent-A-Mover, as they do not deliver on their services!

although they were running late they kept me abreast of when they would arrive. Once they got there they went straight to work. They worked quickly and efficiently.

The movers ran late because of an earlier booking, arriving at 2:30 for their 1-2pm window of arrival timeslot. I was about 1/2 way through the job since I had time restraints set up by my building and pod service. I did not feel they were as helpful as they could have been since I paid a premium price for a mover I felt would be reliable and would not use this service again.
