Arrived on time, were courteous and professional.
Loading on the other end took approximately two hours, so I was a little confused that unloading took three hours, but I would use them again.

I scheduled 3 helpers for a 3 hr. period to load a 3 bedroom home onto the Van I rented. They were on time and went straight to work. They stayed on track with the time even after I added more work to them by requiring some furniture to be shrink wrapped first before loading onto the van. They made experienced decisions to load and stack the items to ensure there was room to spare. I would definitely recommend them again!

Two very nice men showed up to move me but they were really pretty bad at what they did. First of all they were an hour late. They called to say they would be late but still they were late. Second, it didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. They had no moving equipment even though I had been told that they would. They were slow, didn't seem like they knew how to organize the truck but the BIGGEST problem I had was that they broke my dresser, broke a leg off of my couch, and caused a huge gash in a large bookshelf. They caused A LOT of damage. I would DEFINITELY not use this service again.

The guys were great and went right to work. I needed my household loaded into containers for storage while I I am searching for my next home. Ran out of space and they worked with me in returning once I had another container delivered. Use these guys!

These folks were kind, helpful and efficient. They took care of our belongings when unloading them from our pods and putting the items into our home. Good value too. I would recommend these guys for sure.

The guys were on time! They moved quickly and we were moving out of a third floor apartment!!!. I almost had to make them drink some water!! They packed my truck awesome and they really cared about not damaging my things and taking care of them. I would def use them again if I was staying in Houston!

Both good and the bad.
First the good.. The guys were on time and were fast. I booked 3 hours incase the extra hour was needed but they took 2 as I anticipated.
The bad.. Since 3 hrs were boked for 2 poeple they did not refund the one hour that was not used.
Message I got.. don't book for more hours if you are not sure, book less. If you need more you can add the hour. Save $50 plus otherwise you will lose the money with them.
I had one 18 inch Pod to unload. You can use that as a measure on how much time you need.

Guys worked hard and were careful. Did their best work loading boxes, but once we got to the case goods they started leaving gaps in the pack density. Didn't seem to have a good strategy to maximize fit. Also, although I asked them to pack the TVs and some prints when they arrived, this didn't happen until the container was almost full and then had difficulty fitting the items (I actually had to take them in my truck). Had the items been packed and triaged in the garage I'm certain they would have been able to get into the container.
Last item. When they disassembled the bed and other items they left some of the hardware on the floor without putting it in a bag and keeping it with the bed. They also left one of eight chairs in a dining set unpacked -- when I discovered this I had to unpack two rows of items in order to find a spot to put the chair. That is when I found the open spaces a bit further back in the container. Why would you load 7 of 8 chairs in a set and just not load the eighth?
As I said, they did a good job loading boxes but didn't seem to have an interest or ability to max-pack the larger items (sofa, desks etc).

Joseph and his two assistants arrived on-time, fully-prepared for the work ahead. They did a great job and were very efficient and diligently worked to accomplish their tasks.
Joseph and his two assistants were very polite and considerate and demonstrated great customer service throughout the day.
My wife and I would request Joseph and his crew again if the occasion required such help. We highly recommend Joseph and his crew to future Hire -a- Helper customers.
