I contacted IVP the day before to confirm the move. They acknowledged the contract and were at the location at 10:00AM as instructed. They were efficient in moving the items from the apartment to the truck. I had rented five dozen blankets for them to wrap the furniture. Only three dozen were used. When we got to our location in New Jersey, we found that some of the wood furniture had not been protected with blankets and that some damage had occurred.

IVP was great. It was easy to book them, they showed up on time, and the two movers were very professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They even told me about some great places to eat in town, which was helpful.
Regarding the move they finished ahead of time and moved everything where I asked. I have always been reluctant to use movers in the past (i have heard horror stories) but I won't be reluctant in the future and I know who I will call, IVP

After many stressful moves, my husband and I decided to hire movers to help us with our latest move. Boy are we glad we did. The gentlemen that showed up to help us arrived on time and eager to get to work. They were courteous and friendly. They worked the entire time we hired them for and did not take a break - even when we asked them if they needed to because it was HOT outside. We have no complaints. It was the best decision we have made in regard to the moving process and we will absolutely hire them again in a heartbeat! My only regret is that I didn't hire them for longer!

I would definitely recommend IVP Moving to all my colleagues, students, and friends! Justin and his business partner (Sorry, I can't remember his name) arrived on time and were well prepared with their own dolly and tools. They were very courteous and patient, and even helped start the U-Haul truck that my mother had rented. (The truck badly needs repair to the steering column. The truck won't start again unless one slams the gear shift into park.) Justin and his partner stayed until the job was finished and were very careful when moving antique furniture. They were competent, friendly, and extra-helpful movers, and I look forward to hiring them in the future!

The IVP moving labor helpers were awesome! These guys never stopped moving and nothing was broken! The were so nice, on time, and flexible. I moved 10 hours from Columbia, MO and nothing shifted in the uhaul during the drive, they made sure everything was secure. A++++ service!

Fast & efficient, got us moved out in no time and no effort on our part.
Only one minor problem, when the washer was removed, the water line was left dripping and we did not notice until it had already spread under the carpet.
However, we caught it in time so that there were no permanent issues and I would definitely use IVP again, so don't let that discourage you.
Aside from that (which was something I should have checked anyway), awesome service. Thanks guys!

Your response is a bit misleading. I just wanted to be 100% honest in my response, I'd appreciate the same from you guys. You *DID* unhook the washer, and it *WAS* leaking. *YOU* suggested it was my water heater and we simply figured that was right, as we'd had problems in the past.
I still gave you a good review, I only brought it up as it was the ONLY BAD PART OF THE EXPERIENCE. I'm still pleased with the service, but I am a bit upset that you would try to twist events that way.
It was my responsibility to check it, and I admit that - hence the 5 star review that I am now changing due to this bit of historical revisionism.
So anyone wanting this service, understand that they do a great job, but evidently their memory is a bit...lacking.
