major rip off. I paid Utopia movers $599 for two guys to load a 16 foot pod. Loaders didn't finished a quarter of the pod after three hours of work. I paid Utopia movers $599 for three hours and $65.50 per hour after the three hours. Don't recommend this company.

Richard I’m not sure how to respond to a Review that has nothing to do with Crew performance… you chose Utopia for 2 jobs knowing the price up front you worked the crew for 6 hours staging stuff in your garage preparing for the next POD … you canceled the second job because the crew was no longer needed then you proceed to leave a 1 star review based on PRICING, something that you agreed to before you hired Utopia Movers to come out. Utopia strives to provide quality service now we got absorb bad reviews based on something already established with each company listed and that the Price.

I can’t say enough great things about the movers that we had today. We rented a truck and when the load out movers arrived to load us into that truck, I can’t tell you how great the experience was. They were courteous, respectful, on time, and very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend them for any service you have for moving, Jones was so great in his communication of his team to get to my house in a timely fashion, and we will definitely be using them again, Brandon is a Tetris master with the boxes! Hire these guys it’s worth it !!! True professionals!!

My insight on UTOPIA Movers:

Were they on time? They were on time, in fact 10 minutes earlier.

Were they prepared for the job? Not quite. One mover had some experience, the other had none.

Did they work hard? Yes

Were they respectful of your property and goods? Very respectful.

Would you use them again? No. Although all of the above happened, and no disrespect to the young men who showed up at my home to work hard. I found UTOPIA not be as professional as most folks who come to my home to do work. They sent two crews to my home and it took them 20 minutes to decide who was to do the work (I blame the owner for that one); the movers that stayed had no experience, my husband had to supervise and they tried to charge an extra hour of time to our final bill ( I blame the owner for that as well).

I would not use them again not because of the above, but because I had to take the time to refute the bill. This job was billed at 2 people 2 hours, 3rd hour extra money. They told HireAHelper they were there for 3 hours, when in fact they did it in 2 hours. That dishonesty is enough for me not to use their services again.

Once again Utopia Movers has to respond to a review that makes absolutely no sense. The only thing Utopia made a mistake in was sending another crew to the same location thats a logistical problem that we will address but after that nothing you stated makes any sense. You the client actually asked my other crew to stay and you would pay them to stay but they had to go to a different location. You booked my crew for 2 men 3 hours the crew finished the job in 2 hours 35 minutes and you refused to pay because you told my crew you only wanted to pay for 2 hours. Utopia Movers accepted the lost time of 35 minutes for its crew but to make up stories to justify not wanting to pay for the time the crew was there totally is unprofessional as a client. We take pride in every job we go out to work on and feel it’s only right to be compensated for the allotted time. You also Tipped the crew for there work so your whole review minus the beginning makes no sense but good luck to you

They arrived in time, worked hard, were extremely careful with all my collectibles and did exactly as I asked. I would recommend that you ask for Jonathan and his partner when scheduling your move.

Very poor quality work. Damage to walls and flooring. Arrived 3 hours late. And one worker smelled like alcohol. And my wife's phone mysteriously disappeared from our home. I do not recommend to anyone.

It’s amazing how I communicate with you and you hire my guys for an extra hour and pay them but now you are the victim says everything… we have a track record of not having any problems with theft so this one is new to Utopia… we were never late it was a same day last minute request so we did our best to get a crew to your residence when you had already confirmed with Hireahelper that they crew had flexibility with arrival time
