Let me start by saying I did have a little doubt at first. The gentleman called and said they hit some heavy traffic so would arrive about 20 minutes later than they thought. I understand the traffic problems so it was not a big deal. Then he called back and said his helper started vomiting so he was going to have to get another helper, I was not sure about them at this point. But he was very good about keeping me informed as to how long it would be before they would arrive. Upon their arrival they started right in and within a short period of time they had us unloaded. Then we got the 26 ft. truck stuck in our yard. These fellows tried to help my husband get the truck out but no such luck. Then 2 days later this same fellow called back and asked how we made out checked again to see if we were pleased with his service and thanked us again. I would recomend Reliable Movers to anyone who needs the help. They are professional and very courteous. I would use them again.

I had scheduled for a Satureday morning move in which the owner called me to see if a later time would be ok since they already had previous moves scheduled. That was not a problem, nor was the issue. The evening before the move, they called me to see if they could come at my original requested time in which I had already made plans for the afternoon move.
The day of the move, they called me 10 minutes past their scheduled time to tell me they were on their way which they were 1.5 hours away. So, they arrived almost 2 hours late. Then once they arrived, they couldn't fit everything in their truck. (There was no reason everything should have fit.)
They had to take one of my doors off upstairs to make some furniture fit through the door and they ended up leaving their tools and also leaving the door off the hinges.
The best part of this all, they moved my mattress upstairs and one the movers apparently cut himself and left blood on my mattress.
I called the company to let them know of the problems/situation and I still have yet for someone to call me back. It's been one week and I've left two messages. I would not trust this mover if you want the job done correctly and reliably!

Lee & Greg picked up a same-day call (we had reserved a different moving company that didn't show up, so after 3 hours of waiting, we had to find a replacement--that's where Steve from HireAHelper.com found us Reliable Movers). They were very professional and worked hard, doing everything we asked of them. They also helped me re-arrange and pack items into my storage unit to make it all fit (in the sleeting rain). If I need assistance for moving again, I would definitely not hesitate to call or refer Reliable Movers. Great work ethic, very personable, and courteous.

I had high hopes after all the great reviews but it ended up being a nightmare that lasted a week after the move. I had to fight to resolve damage with a non-communicative staff. Thankfully, Hire-A-Helper stepped in and got Reliable Movers to start working with me. In the end, a week later, everything was resolved and I received an apology from the movers. However, I cannot in good faith recommend this company after the immense stress and anxiety they added to an already stressful event in our lives. I would never utilize their service again nor recommend them to friends or family.

These guys were pretty good. I liked that they were agreeable and helpful, and seemed eager to please. They were also wonderfully polite. However, they made more work for me that was ridiculous in its magnitude. Despite my labeling boxes clearly in HUGE letters as well as being very clear on where there would be large pieces of furniture going in various areas, they placed things helter skelter, with some of the heaviest boxes for the living room going into the bedroom, a huge TV set on the floor instead of the stand (which wasn't where I asked for it to be placed), large pieces of bedroom furniture in the living room, and so on. I am a small woman, and this was insane trying to fix all of this and get unpacked, as there were a huge amount of things I couldn't move around on my own, much less unpack until the furniture was in its correct spot. Other than this, they were fine, and I liked their attitude a lot, so it wasn't all bad.

There was a scheduling miscommunication but the company was able to work things out. I was disappointed that they didn't show up at the scheduled time, but they were very apologetic and did everything they could to make things right. The work ended up being done in a very professional and timely manner.
