A very positive experience. Arrived on time, promptly loaded my rental truck at my residence and then at my storage unit. Were careful with my things, asked questions about how to handle certain items, and acted in a professional manner.

My moving experience was not good. I scheduled these movers three weeks in advance, but the day before the move I received two phone calls by Johnson Movers asking to change my moving time. The next day they were 45 minutes late due to oversleeping. I expected two adults to arrive but what I got was an adult and 3 boys (all 16 yrs. old) who did not seem to have moving experience. The adult did not seem to know how to efficiently load the trailer. When it began to rain, the boys stood under a tree and did not work. I was very disappointed and feel we would have accomplished the move without being rained on if they'd arrived on time. I'm sorry, but I would not recommend this team. Although the adult was courteous and respectful, some of my furniture was scraped or even dropped.

These guys were great. They were a little late due to a previous job taking longer than expected, but kept me updated with the anticipated arrival time. The short wait was worth it! We needed their help with just the big items (couch, kitchen table, queen bed, dresser, etc), but they moved so fast that we ran around packing extra boxes to go along with. They blew us away with how fast and careful they were. They kept a good sense of humor even when there were challenges - such as a tiny elevator - and their good attitudes helped lower the stress of moving.
I'm sure I'll move again at some point, and I plan on calling Johnson Movers again.
