I would not recommend these movers. Here's why 1) Arrived 2:45, instead of between 12 and 1p, although they did call 2) Only provided moving for 1 hour 45 min instead of 2 hours because they "rounded to the nearest half hour"! 3) Only one experience mover. Other 2 were quite young and just following instructions 4) Used dollies to move our boxes 3 at a time down a flight of stairs. The boom from each step made us cringe as the contents were severely shaken 5) Damaged a door where a stop was in use to prevent it fully opening 6) Did not use blankets to protect the furniture, but instead used excessive amounts of cellophane 7) Poor Attitude. We let them go at 1 hr 45m, even though the job was not complete. We finished ourselves.
Sorry for the issues on your move, the crew in question is no longer with our company due to repeated issues on their past few jobs completed. I’m sure your aware as listed in the agreement with hire a helper that you are required to provide blankets for your furniture. I did talk to them about all your concerns and was told they were instructed by your daughter and husband to take down more than one box at a time because carrying them down would take too much time.

The two guys from Morris Moving were extremely hard working and did an excellent job! They moved furniture and boxes from inside by two-story home as well as from my backyard workshop. They worked quickly and carefully, neatly and efficiently placing everything into my POD. While I was dragging in the afternoon Texas heat, these two guys didn't let that slow them down at all, even though they had been moving furniture all day. I was thoroughly impressed and would absolutely use Morris Moing again and highly recommend them1\!

They worked hard, saving me money. I tipped them nicely. One piece was slightly torn -- a small price to pay from my standpoint. Most commercial movers do more damage than that. A lot more. It was a 3/4" tear in a sofa. As tightly packed as everything was, I expected more. Thanks for a great job.

Showed up 1 hour and a half late. I had to call to get updates on where they were and what was going on. I would not recommend.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with Morris Movers. They were on time, I will give them credit for that. But, the two men that arrived to do the moving were not experienced movers, I think they were laborers. I had bought furniture blankets to wrap my antiques and valuables. And handed them the blankets. When I noticed the furniture was packed without the blankets and the tables were laying on top of each other, I mentioned it to them and they said they "forgot". When they took down the beds, they did not have the tools to take apart the bed frames and at that point my tools were already loaded into the POD. One of the guys came and got me, pointed at the bed and said, "we can't move this it does not come apart". I explained to him that all movers are capable of taking apart a bed frame, he said "they did not give us any tools". He asked for a quarter and used that for a screwdriver. They took forever, two extra hours and I had to keep reminding them of items that had forgot. I have very little faith my furniture will be in good condition, I am sure many items will be damaged. I am very upset with this company.

Try to make sure boxes are sealed and ready to be moved, if there are any items not to be moved please make sure they are marked.
