They were careful of our belongings and took the time to see that the boxes were secure. I would definitely use them again and will recommend your company and especially these workers to my friends.

Absolutely The Best Movers are absolutely the best movers. They showed up ready to work. They were using packing items I provided and made the best use of them. Worked hard. Very careful with my furniture and expert loading. I really needed their professional expertise to understand how to load my POD. They were great. They loaded the heavy stuff and left me lots of room for my boxes. I recommend them and would use them again.

Two high school students were dropped off to unload a truck of furnishings and equipment. They had little or no experience, no direction, no work ethic and no enthusiasm. They were slow, with one waiting on the other and both waiting on direction. They showed up 2 hours late and offered a $25 discount for being late. It was dark when they completed emptying the truck. There had been much more work intended such as assembly of swing set, beds, etc. but we opted to do it ourselves and approved payment for work done. We certainly would not use this company again.

I wish I could be leaving a good review for Absolutely the Best movers. If I could, I would. While the workers were polite and worked constantly, it turned out they were NOT the professional movers I thought I had hired. They started by arriving over an hour late. I was later given a $25 discount as compensation. They began working immediately. I did not think they needed close supervision, as they were supposed to be professional movers with experience. The job took hours longer than estimated. The truck was full and we were forced to leave several large items behind. After the movers left, we were unable to close the door of the moving truck. An obstacle was in the way. As my husband tried to clear the blocking obstacle, items loaded by the movers began to slide to the opening of the truck. We were up until midnight trying to get the truck closed. The next morning, we spent two hours tying down contents before we could leave. When our unloading helpers arrived at our destination, they quickly began to comment on the conditions inside the moving truck. To begin with, the middle of the truck included a very large empty space! I could have kept many items I wanted to keep if they had filled this space. This cost me money. Many boxes were put into the van upside down, causing a few messes. There was scratching and gouging on multiple pieces of furniture, although furniture blankets we're provided. An antique cabinet was broken, an expensive lamp was dented and broken. Our 50 inch TV was found with a furniture corner pressed against the screen. It no longer works. The movers on this end started taking pictures of how things were loaded and of the damage. The owner of Absolutely the Best movers was consistently difficult to get on the phone, and became angry when these problems we're reported to him. He stated it was our efforts to push the obstacles into the truck so we could close it which caused these problems. Hire a Helper, which was the website we used to hire these guys refuses to help us. They called me the morning after the truck was loaded to close my case with them. At that time, none of the damage was known, only the slowness of the workers, and the extended length of time the job took. I let them close my case, never dreaming I'd have thousands of dollars in damage. Each time I have called them, they have said they cannot helped them, because I accepted a $60 discount based on the initial problems we had when the moving truck was loaded. My wife opened each Rubbermaid. I wanted the Rubbermaid’s stacked tightly against the wall on the porch to the ceiling, but that didn’t happen. They were done in about an hour because my wife took charge. They were not leaders at all. Should’ve only had to pay them 1/2 as my wife pulled down nearly every single Rubbermaid! Dan Todd
